My dad is a Taurus with Scorpio moon and there is nothing that can bring him down, really. From the biggest setback or failure he will cover quickly.
I never ever see him give up on anything. If there is a need to fight, he's gonna fight. Smartly, strategically of course. But I've heard him kicking faces also.
Comparing to Aries sun/moons this combo of Taurus/Scorpio is the killer.
Aries can change mind quickly and are more playful.

weirdly I was talking to my mother and aunts about sun signs alone (since they are not really into astrology so they only know sun signs) and they were all into royalty and the queens who are powerful are Taurus Suns. ie. Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Isabella of Spain, Queen Elizabeth the 1st has Taurus moon. And they have noticed the men are powerful and strong. But Silent so you don't know they are there, plotting and stuff and then POW..
that kind of stuff.

It's easy for Taurus Suns to get notoriety for being powerful or having some type of authority. Since it's the Sun that's in Taurus you have to start with a chart that has Leo Rising by default, then find the Taurus Sun in that chart. You'll find it in the 10th House. Their power and authority is seen by everyone.
If you apply this same rule to Scorpio Sun you'll find the Sun in the 4th House. There's not many Scorpio Suns that have a reputation for being these powerful, ruthless rulers one would expect. There's a reason for that. Scorpios don't like the limelight. They don't feel comfortable in it. They value privacy. Scorpio knows that any public figure is a target and is in danger of being taken down. They are after pure power not recognition or fame. They are the power behind the scenes.
You can apply this same rule to any placement. The Ascendant sign always has to be the sign that's ruled by the planet you're using.

Ehh I would say depends on the person personally. Aries men are more powerful then Scorpio men because they are more forward. Aries woman are really naive and have a lot of underlying feeling they don't express they just move in silence so I wouldn't say they are weak. Scorpio women don't do anything for me (I'm am a little bias) they are not upfront but love being subliminal and that does nothing for me. I am very blunt so the little jabs I notice
They don't affect me and if it ain't direct I don't respect it.

Then I checked her chart and yes, Aries sun, Scorpio moon, okay, true - they have that in common. But this astrologer has Taurus rising, not Aries, among other differences in their chart. Different writing style too, plus he's into Vedic astrology as well as Western, and he's alive.
