why are people so rebellious against us scorpios

hey fellow scorps, i read on the aries board" Scorpio, lengends in their own minds" , i have read onn the virgo thread" virgos the true stingers on the virgo board". i mean forreal , i even read on the virgo thread , that they feel they have a cutting edge defense , and passion, i have read on the virgo board , many topics about us scorps. why are people so angry and jealous of our traits and qualities... why are people so competitive. i'm only talking about people who can't give scorps their props, if the shoe doesn't fit , don't wear it, but if it fits, then this applies to you!!!!

I happen to agree that it is a jealousy issue. We are strong, proud, independent, passionate and intense. Too hot for some to handle.

i'm not trying to confirm what you claim, chi, is true. but i think there are a couple traits in scorps that play a major role in your idea... and this is my opinion as an outsider looking in... one is that scorpios are truly self-assured. you people dont need the approval of others to feel ok about WHO you are. You answer to no one but yourselves and this trait is in just about everyone of you. i've yet to meet a scorpio who i didnt think had this characteristic... id certainly be surprised. other people of other signs may also possess this confidence, but its not as consistent in the other signs as it is for scorpios. it's admirable. it will bring you an image of competence and a healthy measure of control over yourself that is also empowering.

TWO, most of you have instinct enough to ask a lot of questions and a lot of the right questions that will get you closer, if not dead on, to the truth in a situation or matter, especially when you let yourself be unbiased and most of you can hold that objective opinion.

those two traits combined can mix in a number of ways per the circumstance, but no matter which way... most people find themselves respecting you for them... sometimes begrudgingly. those that are jealous are just in denial. and even if they dont, they can see how much what 'they' think doesnt matter and that 'they' could never get to you, even if they wanted to.

Perhaps you need to reread what chi wrote. It does not say that scorps are the best, but rather the most powerful. I too have read that. Scorps happen to have the endurance to carry out a plan, when others are long gone. I agree that there is power in every sign, without doubt. We just happen to have stamina and determination that others lack at the END of the day. We do take our lives and make them great. If we didn't, then other signs would not find it necessary to knock us down every chance they get. That however does not deter us from our goals, just makes us more determined than ever. So add the fuel to our fires.

I wouldn't really go on saying that other people are jealous because they aren't

scorpios. Leos can carry the warmth of love AND forgiveness for a lifetime. I have

scorpio rising in my chart and i like it exactly placed as a rising sign and not as a

sun sign. (it gives me an edge AND THAT'S ALL) Having scorpio in my chart has definate

put me in a couple of tight spots regarding sexual attraction *in which I'm not

For my personal opinion,power usually isn't sought after,it just turns out that way cause whatever you do becomes an obsession of yours until its finished and completely perfect.No playtime,no sick days,breaks and whatever else that other people would be doing,a scorp is likely to be unhealthily at work or home obsessing about whatever it is until perfect.Not really a competition with certain things like art,you'd be looking to do a masterpiece...a scorp will obsess over it until it truely is a masterpiece to the smallest detail to thier liking.Scorps can also get the "stupid" or looked down upon part of it also cause other signs may think theres no reason to persue something while the scorp has it's mind set that there is a point to whatever until they find it,they aren't going to be happy.Its kinda like a psychological illness is our version of power which yeah,the crazies alot of the time end up being the geniuses,groundbreakers or whatever cause they're obsessed.Someone who is just good at something but doesn't get obsessed about it isn't going to do much of it when they don't have to.Its astrology that puts that out there,not nessecarly scorps(at least for me) thinking about it 24/7 however do know and admit to my strong points when the topics brought up....
