Pros- it feels free, supposed to reduce the trapping of bacteria
Cons-noticeably sweaty vaj on hot days, your dress might fly up and your bare butt is out

I hate underwear and haven't worn any since I was a child. I were skirts and dresses all the time, and pants and don't have a "discharge" whatever that is - sounds pretty gross ...
