Did it work? You need at least 6 sessions to zap all the hair cycles. It works differently for everyone. They might have you come in more or less-frequently depending on hair growth rate.

How many treatments did you have to do ? I didn't complete all my sessions. I used to work at an advanced aesthetics center so I got it done for free here and there.

Where did you have it done ?

Don't go to Ideal Image- they are a ripoff.

I worked at a private center in my city.

Make sure to closely shave so that the hair doesn't burn. Be careful not to irritate area prior to appointment. Keep areas out of sun for 1-2 days or you will get white spots.

Damn that's where my consult is cause it's down the road from where I work

I don't even know who else does it in the area

I need to research more

I guess I will go and see what they say at least

I have a high pain tolerance, neither one really hurt. However, one machine I have tried has more bite, it's meant for darker complexions, and I have a harder time with that. I was told I was an amazing client because I don't even flinch.

Yes it works. Keep in mind it isn't permanent hair removal, though they will advertise that sometimes. The only form that is considered permanent is electrolysis.

I noticed significant results between 3 to 6 procedures. My knees have had some results, but it's a harder area to get, so not as much as the rest of the legs.

I have it done at a laser place, but doctors can do it too.

My old manager got her legs done in her late 20s, shes now in her 50s and has to shave. But the hair is thin, sparse, and slow growing. But still, it comes back eventually.

It's a lot of money for it to come back ?

I might try the cream first

Idk I'm nervous now

I have an appt with ideal image and it does seem gimmicky

The creams weird me out. Like who knows what kind of damage and ageing its doing to your skin.

If you get the laser removal get it with the knowledge that it may come back. And of course be comfortable with the price.

Girl just go for it!! It's all worth it. I had mine done like 3 years back. It doesn't hurt at all. Nothing compared to waxing tbh. They'll numb the area anyway..the numbing part hurts more than the laser if anything. I still remember how the ice(or whatever it was) numbing hurt my forehead. Also bikini line hurts a tad too.It would take around 6-7 sessions. But I took it a while longer for the face for rejuvenation(was just curious). Make sure you're getting it done by a dermatologist n not a cosmetologist tho.

I did my 4th session yesterday. She increased the laser also. She said it should hurt less each time but I have not experienced it. It has hurt like the very first time. It feels like needles getting zapped in and out. I twitch every time I feel it but I am ok with it because I know it's working. So far all my coarsed hair has been zapped off but I have finer hair that still lingers. Laser hair removal only works on certain pigments with darker hair. I have fair medium skin with black hair.

Yeah she told me a lot of my hair is too blonde and fine but there are plenty of places it's dark enough

Go for it! It's the best thing I ever did. Smooth and silky all the time and goodbye waxing and razors.

Coarse hair hurts more in the beginning. I'm had my legs, armpits and upperlip done, also lady bits. My friend worked as a laser tech one summer and pretty much attacked every hair she saw! Lol

It's been 3 years now I believe. What has come back is very sparse and very thin. (I'm talking maybe 4 individual hairs on my armpit for example)

Just be sure you choose a reputable place. Lasers can leave nasty burns.

Did it hurt worse than waxing? Yes, It feels like someone is taking a rubber band and pinching you with it

Did it work? Yes, it works wonders

How many treatments did you have to do ? i did 4 sessions and i have dark hair so you cant see the dark hair anymore but i still need 2 more sessions, i did my underarms, now i never have to shave them 😄

Where did you have it done ? my bestfriends mom did it for me at her office

i recommend it, i know its really expensive try to find someone who works in the field so they can tell you more about it and maybe give you a discount.

Laser hair removal is not permanent, and no laser hair removal establishments are allowed to say "permanent hair removal" because of that. I had laser hair removal done on my pubic area, and about 15 percent of the hair had grown back within a year or two. Within about 5 years, about 30 to 40 percent of the hair had grown back. Now about ten years after the hair removal, I would say that about 50 to 70 percent of the hair has grown back. So that was about $ 1000 wasted. If you want permanent hair removal, go for electrolysis.
