Being flattered that this cool older dude is showing interest in you, usually dropping lines like "your so mature for your age" is part of the grooming process. Its a key tool in the predators arsenal to convince their child victim that they are special and unique and different from their peers. When they reach their 20s they will realize how creepy and gross those dudes are for targeting teenagers instead of just dating women their own age... and you know of legal age. That is if they haven't already.

I think it happens a lot.
I was cornered by my male boss at work when I was a teenager and had a guy come into the restaurant and jack off wile he was watching me work, and that same boss had to kick him out of the restaurant.
This type of behavior never got that bad with the teenage boys I knew. It was always grown men.
So I am a little biased when it comes to adults messing with teens.

Naw thats serious. Chances are if you could speak with your former school mates it may have gone further than that with some of them. This sort of thing is very rampant. People will sexualize children and blame the way they dress or the way the look as an excuse for their own predatory behavior towards said kids.

Well how would you! At that age you literally know next to nothing, especially when it comes to sex and predatory grooming behaviors. My mother was abused as a kid and made sure we all knew what to look for and not to trust any adult etc etc. But most kids are kept really sheltered and taught to trust and respect adults, especially the ones who are in charge of us like teachers. I feel like if parents and society in general would discuss these topics openly with kids in language they understand we could prevent some of this.
Victims always feel like it was an isolated incident and nobody would believe them when they speak out. But in actuality if the shame and blame is taken off the victim and they are open with their experience you start having a ton of people speaking up with similar experiences from the same perpetrator.

Same. But I wouldn't call it bias, I'd call it righteous anger. I especially hate the double standard towards female predators. A female teacher grooming a young teenage boy for sex is just as horrendous as the reverse. But those cases are never prosecuted the same way they are for male teacher female child.

Yeah I clocked that too. My brain instantly went to the fact that you never fully develop physically or mentally into maturity if your unable to get adequate nutrition. Malnutrition absolutely linked hand in hand with lower socioeconomic status. Long term can cause all kinds of behavioral and cognitive issues. Malnutrition directly effects your libido and sexual health. But I'm sure there are other examples of socioeconomic status effecting biology.

There indeed are! On the flip side of the examples you enumerated, it's been noted that children, in what we understand as traditionally developed countries, are now getting their first permanent teeth no longer at the average age of 6 but as young as 4 & girls starting their menstrual cycles as young as 10. Where such were only occasional instances only a decade ago, now they've more or less become a norm.

The problem is that instinct and what is social norm doesn’t match. Society got regres at this point - there were used to women in age of 14 giving as wife's to much older men and they were having kids right after marriage because the faster woman has kids the less dangerous it is for genetic mutations problems. When I was at school there was underage girls we are talking 14, 15 who used to go out with older "men" we are talking late 20s in some cases because they said boys their own age are immature.

That's something we will never know - how many heads he turns. I've been chased before, but it is incredibly rare. Had women look at me, could be attraction, could just be because people are curious of other people. With stuff like giving someone a look it's how you follow it up.
