I think everyone cheats men may more then women. But I honestly feel everyone cheats either physically or emotionally and out of the emotional cheating is the worst and damaging.

Maybe my personal bias. The whole category is blurred for me. I'm big on touch and intimacy. I could go without. Straight sex if those 2 are satisfied. I've done so before in my 20s as a high libido male. It's a dangerous game though yet at the same time increases the level of effection and intimacy when sex is not a outlet for that desire/energy.
Affection, or actively showing it is VERY important, but you need the sex as well.
You can go without the sex part of it for awhile, but eventually that catches up with you and ruins the relationship.

I've been celibate for longer
After a llfe of depending on sex to make me feel whole (which it never did) i have now healed the yearning/addiction. It took me a long time to realise that nothing/nobody else or what they offer you can fix you...wherher it's sex, drugs, booze, food etc.
