My very personal Love/Hurt relationships with Geminis

First off, I read on a Twitter discussion that this sign is of the the most "abused" and mocked sign in popular culture (if a character is "crazy", we found out later it's because it's a Gemini), so posters of this sign protested this misrepresentation. I think the generalities of signs should never be taken so seriously, but I do see why some Geminis would feel offended by this, although knowing this sign, most of them would probably LAUGH.

Anyway. I have a fascination with the sign, because despite having grown up with incredibly problematic Geminis, family members that I don't see anymore, I always thought they had a "beat" to keep up with, be it knowing and choosing the best songs of the era, creating stuff, and generally being so mentally active. Pisceans are known for bringing out their best in the right environment, and this was my case. It's like if my Gemini family members brought problems but also guitars to the house, I'd take the guitar and try my own thing with it.

They're great in the abstract. I don't know many outside of my family, certainly I don't have any close friendships with Geminis, but yet I feel the closest to Geminis via art, because for some weird reason, most of my favorite artists are consistently Geminis, being writers, musicians, filmmakers... and what's so fascinating is not that their approach is always unique, witty, smart and rich in references... they never shy from going against the rules of how an art form should be approached, they have that open state of mind so deeply ingrained in their crazy heads, but the most important thing is how their art is also incredibly moving and even sentimental... so much for the "detachment" cliché associated with the sign. I'd talk about my favorite Gemini artists, but it's such an intimate relationship. So, no 😉

Libras are usually soft and lovely. Maybe they get criticized for the indecision thing and the flirty propensity, but it's a very soft and sensitive sign. Also very drawn to arts. Super Venusian. You need severe placements if you're a Libra sun troublemaker. I think the signs that have it worse in pop culture are Scorpios, Geminis and Pisces. Maybe Cancers too.

You ain't lying about that part about people misrepresenting us as being crazy when all we really are is chill in actuality. Me personally I like to sit back quietly and watch other people act crazy making a complete mockery of themselves. Everything you said in the op is true. Gemini is the most abused and mock sign of them all.

Though I do like that part about the bringing a guitar with them and you play it to try your own thing with it😉. That made me smile when I red that.

That soft and lovely trait is more of a Libra rising thing and being indecisive. Don't give in to too much of that Libra sun being soft. I know a couple Libra sun females who's anything but soft.

"Not sure about about any air placements being soft"... I wouldn't really say soft but more of a sweet type and detached. Our moods change quite frequently making others believe we crazy when in fact some people don't realize they've pushed a wrong button. And that what makes libras a tough s.o.b.

Pisces and Gemini both have dual natures that assert themselves in different ways and I think there is an affinity there. Gemini's love a puzzle and Pisces are it! I can never really understand them and that's what I find fascinating.

Sure, Gemini's are usually buzzing all around the place because we are interested in everything. But I usually seek out introverted people to hang out with because they balance and calm my own energy.

Generalities are just that and in astrology because of all the other placements - they are just not accurate. The Gemini's I know (and there are lots of them) are all so different from one another. But I have noticed that kindness is a thread that I am going to use as my own generality here. ALL of them would go out of their way to help you.

Yeah, to criticize the twins is like hell for them, to me they are quite complicated people. At least I have a hard time getting along with them, of course everyone is different

idk but my Gemini aunt just stole $ 4,000 from her Pisces boyfriend after locking him in their room. ditches him and is now hiding out with her friends In a nearby city from me. and now she's being nice to me, asking me to hangout at 'her' new apartment (probably trying to 'borrow' money from me). She stole $ 2,000 from my Virgo aunt too and my grandma thinks she has a mental illness and I'm like nah she just a Gemini. But boy, this woman lectures me like she's never done anything wrong ever in her life. Also, same woman who used to seduce her own boyfriend as 'another woman' to 'test' him. Her 2nd house is strong though so she wants that 💰💰
