I have a very strong 10th career House yet I never bothered with it. I changed my job often and not afraid to leave it whenever I feel like it.
And I don't think much about love either. This is understandable though cause I have an empty 7th relationship House.
I've never been in a situation where I had to choose between both.
But if I had to choose, I would choose love.
Cause love equals happiness in my book.
