Astrology aside, I remember you saying that this guy has an avoidant attachment style . It is incredibly difficult (almost impossible) to help someone through their attachment issues if they are avoidant. They need to seek counseling more then anything else. That's not something you can force him to do.

As you mentioned you've had a relationship with this man that was based on friendship, which is how he sees you. It may have felt deeper to you, but look at his actions overall. Depression or not, if he truly cared about you, he wouldn't actively flirt with other women. All of that emotional/romantic sentiment would be aimed at you, not them.

At this point you need to stand up for what you want. Honestly if you felt a romantic connection for this long, you've only been doing yourself a disservice by accepting friendship. The reason you're hurt is because you expected this guy to reciprocate your feelings. Did you ever tell him how you felt? If not, you can't be upset with him. If you did tell him and he rebuffed your advances, then you already have your answer.

This may be a stereotypical comment and its not intended to come out like that, but Aquas seem to not deal with their emotions in a way that other signs can understand.

From experience, communication in any relationship is important and it needs to be tailored to the needs of the person.

I don't think anyone can really help anyone unless that person wants help themselves.

I told him. It was the purpose of our initial dating. He knows and he never ran away as he did from all the other women that started to hit on him (online... in reality he dated only one for some months, but he quit - it was before we met). He kept remaining around me, even more consistently than before. With the mentioning that he cannot figure himself in a relationship, as he feels unprepared for a family life yet, but he is trying to improve. An excuse, I know, but this is what he can provide now.

What I've noticed with Aquarius anything whether sun, moon, etc... the person they love the most WILL NEVER hear those words. It's almost like they want you to "know" that's how they feel.

I'm not saying this situation is right but... he spends his time WITH YOU. No one else.. he IS going to have superficial relationships and I'm sorry but this is ALWAYS an aquas momentum. For some reason women are not programmed to be satisfied with "actions and just being there" they want the emotions too and men but especially aquas... are not programmed this way.

As a Libra who for a long 19 years thought the love of her life is an Aqua (and recently found out it's a Leo...) I'd say this. I think in more than one Aqua's mind love is like the textbook dramatic to-die-for love, passionate, destructive, causing suffering, madness, depression etc. My ex one time told me that the perfect relationship would be something mad eventually turning into something nice, with time and with effort. So maybe later on in life they find out that it's actually the peaceful, loving companionship that they want, something that they are or would be able to handle. But they just can't help it... They have female friends, or girls, like my best friend, have male friends and lovers, even if they have someone steady. And with them they have different conversations and different connections. It can be heartbreaking because you are either in one group or the other. I think all of us are hard to live with one way or another, but for sure Aquas require the most patience, or endurance. And a lot of sacrifice. But my Aqua best friend met a Leo guy about ten years ago, and he has put up with a lot, but he never stopped loving her and supporting her and finally, they are starting a family and it seems that my friend is happy about it too, even though she still has a lot of doubts and fears about having a child and being a parent. And you know what my Aqua friend always says about her Leo? He is my best friend, someone I can always rely on. Go figure.

Libras can at times be too insecure and demaning for most Aquarius causing them to look for something that may not even be there.

Aquarius with pisces moon are very sensitive and need a lot of alone time to live in a dream world and do better with people who give them that space to mentally roam. My best friend is one and I can read his moods even through email. He suffers in silence but sometimes the silence is comforting.

You have to practice patience but never give up on him eventually he will come around but one thing you can not do is change him.

I may overthink it. He told me this morning he wished he didn't have to move, but he has serious financial problems. He is moving back to his sister's place. Which may mean actually that he might spend even more time at my place, because I am a lot closer to his workplace and he cannot ride his bike for too long because of his back problems.

It hurts me more that he didn't tell me anything and he took the decision by himself, especially that his rental place belongs to my boss. But it's true, I became too close to him and he is backing off. I am disappointed. We argued a lot last night. I am the closest any person has ever been to him. And yet, he has no clue what a friend is.He totally let me down.

As for feelings, the initial purpose was dating and it never changed. He said it many times.

Yes they can. They know who is just friends platonic and who is romantic interest. They may flirt ( superficial relationships) knowing deep down they only see u as a friend. I have Aqua moon. My lover is my best friend. He is always my bested friend. I even told him I wanna be part of his life forever even just as a friend . Now I feel like it's becoming like. Family hahaha. But ofcoz it's not just a friend....there r physical intimacy involved... but, I think similar... men that do not offer me that friends as well as lovers mind set are out my door... ur Aqua is depressed... I don't know why he isnsr having sex with women.... is he gay? 😢

No, he is not gay, but I told him that I can only have sex with my lover, not casual sex. Since we have never became "lovers", he didn't touch me. He was supposed to become a monk, so he can suppress his desires very easily.

What do you mean by double Aquas? I consider myself being a double Libra because both my Sun and Moon are in Libra, and as a bonus, my Ascendant is in Sagittarius. But I have a lot of Scorpio and some Leo Mars that may make me quite fiery as well. I resent this connection with the Aqua man because I have never met someone like me. It's a delight and a burden in the same time.

But two strong willed persons cannot work together if none is willing to compromise. I, for a fact, am a career woman in a men's world. Highly independent. He is a very smart lad, but he didn't achieve much. We could do so many things together, because I am very practical and he has brilliant ideas and he is a hard working man, but being fixed he doesn't push himself beyond boundaries and he lacks diplomacy.

As for me, I rarely fall in love. But I did. Probably for the last time. And I am afraid it won't go away too soon. Life can be bitchy.

I don't care about sex. I am far superior to that, even though I do very well in bed. I cannot even stand anyone touching me, except the one I have feelings for. And this is a proven fact. He says the same.

What do you mean by double Aquas? I consider myself being a double Libra because both my Sun and Moon are in Libra, and as a bonus, my Ascendant is in Sagittarius. But I have a lot of Scorpio and some Leo Mars that may make me quite fiery as well. I resent this connection with the Aqua man because I have never met someone like me. It's a delight and a burden in the same time.

But two strong willed persons cannot work together if none is willing to compromise. I, for a fact, am a career woman in a men's world. Highly independent. He is a very smart lad, but he didn't achieve much. We could do so many things together, because I am very practical and he has brilliant ideas and he is a hard working man, but being fixed he doesn't push himself beyond boundaries and he lacks diplomacy.

As for me, I rarely fall in love. But I did. Probably for the last time. And I am afraid it won't go away too soon. Life can be bitchy.

He should learn what a real friendship is. It involves complete independence, no touch, no ghosting, no feelings, no massages or lap resting (ask @saweetz88 what I mean, this Aqua ADORES it too!!!), be independent, be yourself, have guts and be responsible for your life !
