what do you all think?

have you all or any of you heard of the Robertwanger/natalie wood?

do you think he did it? the way that OJ is thought to have done it. It's one of those "He done it but no one can prove it"

with OJ simpson, at least he had Shapiro to set him free.

but here is a mystery.

just watched a vid about this recently

and i think he did it

*Davern and Walken's accounts are very similar to each other.. only Wagner's isn't

*she was in her nightgown and socks.. i mean why would she even attempt to go down when she was extremely afraid of water?

*Davern also stated that after a sweaty, disheveled and nervous-looking Wagner told him, “Natalie is missing,” Davern implored his boss “to radio for help and to turn on the searchlight, but Robert Wagner told me, sternly, ‘We are not going to do that. We will wait and see if she returns.'”

*he was the last person with her that night and they had an argument

*Davern said Wood vanished shortly after the explosive fight around 11 p.m. on Nov. 28, when he shouted to her at one point, “Get off my f—— boat!”

*he was jealous about christopher walken

*post-mortem report said she had bruises on her body and and a cut on her cheek BEFORE she fell on the water "she looks like she was a victim of an assault"

he has violent tendancies (robert wagner)

i believe it.

he has articles long ago, on him when he was contemplating on violently killing warren beatty...or have thoughts of it..

In his new autobiography "Pieces of My Heart", Wagner claims he would sit with a gun outside Beatty's home, intent on killing him.

The book details his career and life, including the break-up with Wood, their decision to remarry a decade later and her drowning death in 1981.

Wagner, 78, said: "I was pretty young, and I don't think I could have ever gone through with that act, but I was pretty frustrated and upset."

The book includes stories about Wagner's early life. He moved to Los Angeles in the late 1930s, running in Hollywood circles as a child.

Legendary dancer Fred Astaire used to pick him up from school because Wagner was friendly with his stepson. He also caddied for Clark Gable and dated the daughter of actress Gloria Swanson."

yeh he said he wouldnt have gone through with it...but the act alone...of going there...was enough.

then poeple speculated walken was, or is bi or gay.

maybe he thought he can help her get over it

but that sun-moon thing probably helped the attraction

i don't know if i believe that whole wagner-walken affair thing

people when they're drunk, jealous and emotional..

tend to do crazy things but what i don't understand

is why he didn't kill walken.. which is what most jealous lovers do

kill the rival but maybe that's why the speculation

about them having an affair seems plausible coz it gives stronger motive

not like spouses ever really need more motives to kill each other

i remember i've also read that someone from another boat heard:

"we'll get you out of there, honey"

which is even creepier, right?

i really hate men like that.

who try to force you to face your fears. they can stuff it up their butts.

if she didnt like the water and had horrible fears..then maybe he should have listened.

yeah i dont believe the walken story with him. i just wondered why walken was there with them? i mean why?

also, i noticed the moon cancer 8th house in Wagner...to Natalie's sun cancer in 10th house.

wow, can it get any intense??

https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Robert_Wagner

and her moon taurus in 7th house to his 3rd house sun, and her 11th house venus. to his 3rd house mars.

it's kind of freaky

it's too fated.

It's all very strange for sure. Last I knew, Wagner was refusing to talk (since this has been opened up again, I mean). I wouldn't be surprised if Wagner did it, but hard to know. I'm pretty sure that Wagner and Walken know a lot more than they'll ever say.

Speaking of Natalie Wood, I recently watched and really liked This Property is Condemned (1966). It was based on a one act play by Tennessee Williams.

i'll have to watch that one. I liked some of her films, my grandmother and mother loved her films so i got to watch some with them. she is so lovely, i loved her romantic comedies too.

yeah it is weird that wagner and walken are so hush hush about it. i bet they were really drunk or something and couldnt save her. something like that and were so scared or something.

it's odd how it's opened up during jupiter scorpio transit, as a person of interest. CNN covered on it too,

It's a very good film, IMO. The overall mood isn't cheery, as can be expected from anything related to Tennessee Williams, so if you're in the mood for something a bit dark and haunting in a gritty way, you might enjoy it.

Robert Redford also stars and he isn't playing the kind of character people usually associate with him now, so that was interesting for me to see.

Yes, with the drinking I'm sure a lot is a haze with what happened for everyone.

she does tend to play all types of films. i guess the ones that stood out to me is "Gypsy rose lee"

"splendor in the grass" although i didnt really watch it then i was too young and i fell asleep.

but later i enjoyed, the films with her and tony curtis. and also, the ones with her and Steve McQueen.

Robert redford is always soooo serious ...i can never picture him in a comedy.

when he played in "barefoot in the park" with jane fonda, he even played the super serious man who was a stodgy boring young guy in an old man's soul.

Yes, it's sad that she died because she was very talented.

Robert Redford can be funny in interviews, in a clever subtle way usually, but so often he was cast in roles that are serious, true.

It's interesting that his co star in one of the most respected films that he starred in has the same sun and moon combo: Leo sun, Virgo moon. The film is All the President's Men (1976) and the co star is Dustin Hoffman.

Yes, very Virgo chart for sure for Robert Redford. Virgo placements and 5 things in his 6th house. I have 5 planets in the 6th house, but he beats me with the power of that house I think because he has his sun and moon as part of the collection. I was quite happy when I saw his chart because I felt less alone with my packed 6th, lol.

There are not too many possibilities.

1) She left in a dingy. This is ridiculous...to claim that she went on to untie the dingy and then left in nightgown and socks....what can I say!

2) She jumped after an argument......not necessarily to kill herself, but possibly as a dramatic gesture. The fact that she was afraid of water (and not a swimmer, I suppose?) goes against it.

3) He pushed her over board in a heated moment. Manslaughter. The cuts/bruises would be consistent with it. I'm surprised he was not arrested.

Christopher Walken just happened to be on the boat that night. I don't see anything strange about this. The fact that they argued with him on board shoes that he was not just a guest, though. When I was married, I travelled through Asia several times with my husband AND a friend of his (that he met during such trip decades earlier). There was no intrigue whatsoever. His friend was an asset....well travelled and very sociable.

His friend was an asset....well travelled and very sociable.

the bruise marks are suspiciouis.

some said it's because she was trying to get back up or something. it just sounds really scary.

maybe her revelations of her nightmares of water should provide some clues.

Those Aquas....look at BR who has always been under suspicion for accidentally killing his sister JBR.

Aquas have serious issues I have found (their Leo opposition - huge ego) and are clever enough to harm then back off so others don't catch on. I know the Aquas well......
most aqua, gemini, libra (actually gemini and aqua) are the lowest crime rates while cancer is the highest.

so when an air sun sign has alot of water ...and cancer in the chart... there is a strong intensity.

robert wagner has a scorpio rising too.

i think it's because they think about the consequences of their actions. but if you have too much intensity passion in the chart. it's gonna be hard to think straight even if you know it's wrong.

edit my ex was an aqua sun with aries dominant chart and cancer rising. capricorn moon. you can imagine....

The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond 🙂

You know, I think that most of his works are the way they are coz of his own childhood. His dad had a temper and was quite violent while his mother always babied him. He must've seen the relationship between men and women as.. not so ideal like men take from women sexually and women's sanity relies on a man's view of her.

Thanks very much for both recommendations!

That's interesting about his childhood and how it could shape his perceptions. Definitely that dynamic is present in the film adaptation of his play This Property is Condemned. I'm curious to see if it's a stronger undercurrent in the play.

I was reading about his sister's schizophrenia and how she was lobotomized which was a disaster so she wasn't functional. Very sad.

Probably a few dead bodies in his closet that nobody knows about. Always thought he was creepy and he pulls off sinister roles so well cause his personality is really like that, IMO. It’s a shame that after all these years, those two got off on her murder.

really?

i really should pay more attention to robert wagner's writing. I recently saw his film of him starring ALONE in a small yacht. It felt like a Tom Hanks film alone in an island.. except no talking.

edit i do notice how men write women...like Nicholas Sparks...

they make them very pure with a tint of bad girl, but very subtle, because too goody goody is not all that attractive either. But too bad girl is bordering on prostitutes and criminal activitiy lol not saying prostitutes are criminals but alot of men dont like that.

but maybe nicholas sparks might write one where a man finds his long lost love and she turns out a prostitute and he tries to save her (cue the Pretty Woman film) lol

just watched a vid about this recently

and i think he did it

*post-mortem report said she had bruises on her body and and a cut on her cheek BEFORE she fell on the water "she looks like she was a victim of an assault"

he has violent tendancies (robert wagner)

i believe it.

he has articles long ago, on him when he was contemplating on violently killing warren beatty...or have thoughts of it..

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/3084541/Robert-Wagner-thought-about-killing-Warren-Beatty-over-marriage-break-up.html

"By Chris Irvine 10:04AM BST 26 Sep 2008

He also caddied for Clark Gable and dated the daughter of actress Gloria Swanson."

yeh he said he wouldnt have gone through with it...but the act alone...of going there...was enough.

what a shame, robert was super cute and he had a cancer moon

it's weird though that she married a dude who liked the water and had a boat like girl why?

Image Not Found
he just couldnt help himself. and shes also drawn to him. jeeez.

you'd think that he would help her not get close to the water since she fears that.

maybe he thought he can help her get over it

but that sun-moon thing probably helped the attraction

i don't know if i believe that whole wagner-walken affair thing

people when they're drunk, jealous and emotional..

tend to do crazy things but what i don't understand

is why he didn't kill walken.. which is what most jealous lovers do

kill the rival but maybe that's why the speculation

about them having an affair seems plausible coz it gives stronger motive

not like spouses ever really need more motives to kill each other

i remember i've also read that someone from another boat heard:

"we'll get you out of there, honey"

which is even creepier, right?

i really hate men like that.

who try to force you to face your fears. they can stuff it up their butts.

if she didnt like the water and had horrible fears..then maybe he should have listened.

yeah i dont believe the walken story with him. i just wondered why walken was there with them? i mean why?

also, i noticed the moon cancer 8th house in Wagner...to Natalie's sun cancer in 10th house.

wow, can it get any intense??

https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Robert_Wagner

and her moon taurus in 7th house to his 3rd house sun, and her 11th house venus. to his 3rd house mars.

it's kind of freaky

https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Natalie_Wood

it's too fated.

yeah i thought it was weird too

like why invite someone you're jealous of?

anyway natalie's sister did say that she doesn't know

if her sister's affair with wagner was real or imagined

but that she thought it was all in natalie's mind

so maybe she did have a little crush on walken

this is also ...this.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/06/natalie-woods-death_n_1132121.html

In his 2008 memoir, Pieces of My Heart Wagner explains the argument was driven by Walken’s perspective on Natalie’s career. He describes the events leading up to her disappearance: “The last time I saw my wife she was fixing her hair at a little vanity in the bathroom while I was arguing with Chris Walken.”

But Captain Dennis Davern’s recollection of the evening paints a different picture. The Captain told TMZ that Robert Wagner shouted “Do you want to f*** my wife” at Walken, who was sitting next to Wood on the couch, moments before her disappearance.

this is what he refers to his current wife..

"Wagner, who married actress Jill St. John in 1990, said his stepdaughter very much reminds him of his beloved late wife.

"Sometimes I see the way she moves or the way she walks or laughs and she just reminds me of Natalie," he said. "It's not a continuous thing, just a moment, a turn, her hair, some kind of look. It's quite extraordinary."

but that dark side of him (and a time of era where it wasn't "open" ....look waht happened to poor Rock hudson) couldnt help himself!!!

and Natalie got pissed off!!!!

Yeah and I think he may feel a great sympathy for women coz of his mother and sister.

You can definitely see that in his works where women seem to rely mentally on men.

I suspect he thinks that the relationship is not at all equal and that men probably take/get more from the relationship. One time, a friend told me that she (an aqua sun and I think Tennessee Williams had an aqua moon) thought that homosexual relationships seemed to be more "selfless" and of equal footing coz same sex people can't take as much from each other since procreation is not a necessary part of the equation (which she saw as something that heterosexual relationships usually have). In same sex relationships, there's only either love or lust or both.. not that these aren't also part of heterosexual relationships but conventionally-speaking, there is always in men and women the urge to procreate.

Seeing women as sympathetic and relating more to them with how they struggle with the ravages of time on their looks and how they must always take care of their appearance... and thinking he would take more away from them.. he turned to his equals which to him- are men. That's probably what critics of his time thought of his homosexuality and how it impacted his works.

And even though I know that homosexuality isn't exactly a choice, I feel as if his childhood and family definitely did have an effect in his sexuality which in turn colored his works.

He makes great tragic, delusional women.

Your friend's observation is a good topic for discussion.

The nature vs nurture question about homosexuality continues to be controversial of course, looking at views in different cultures depending on what is considered to be natural, but I've read and heard things that make me think that it could be one or both in specific people, even though generally my sense is that it's innate, like you're saying.

The question about whether Tennessee Williams' experiences when young shaped his choice makes me think of a relative I had (past tense, because she died a few years ago) who said that her sexual relationships with women in her younger years were because starting in her early life she tried to be more masculine to please her older brother who wanted to have a brother, not a sister. She also had a difficult father who died when she was very young. She had sexual relationships with men when young, then only with women, then with neither. In her later years, she said that her relationships with women were a product of her upbringing, not her natural inclination. I think that she was likely bisexual, and her choice of being with men vs women, then the other way around, might have been influenced by upbringing and her responses to it. But, that isn't what she would say about herself, and I can't claim to know for sure of course.

Moving aside sexual expression, I've known several men who have/had abusive fathers and kind mothers (a sharp contrast) and they have a mistrust of men compared to women that has stayed with them throughout life.

I also knew a woman who in her younger years had been sexually assaulted by a male relative when she was much younger which gave her a mistrust and dislike for men. She never told any of her family members coz her parents were very neglectful of her anyway and she felt very ashamed.

Maybe sometimes there is a choice there.

She herself acknowledged that maybe the incident did contribute to her sexuality.

That's another good example of what might happen with some people. Did she get help outside of her family? It's terrible how family dynamics can affect this kind of thing and prevent people from getting help in some cases, if there is help of any kind (depending on the culture, etc).

I forgot to mention that my relative was an Aqua sun.

If you ever watch This Property is Condemned (1966), please let me know what you think about how it deals with themes that are present in Tennessee Williams' work. Natalie Wood, IMO, does an excellent job portraying a woman who behaves in ways that reflect what her options seem to be in life, and the actress who portrays her younger sister does an equally good job representing an almost opposite way of dealing with the same limits.
