What does it mean when Aquarious male friend zoned me?

I met my Aqua 2 months ago and we hit it off immediately, had sex once and a week later all the physical affection stopped but he was heavily texting me and we were still dating, but more like friends. This weekend he introduced me to his closests friends and afterwards told me he just wanted to be friends. Inside I was dying but I didnt let him see it and told him I had a crush on him and if thats the way it had to be then I accepted it, but that I need some spaceto get overthis new situation, but he said he didnt want to lose me as a friend, well I gave in and said okay. Im devestated because I really like him ALOT. Can someone please give some insight on what happened because Im ready to lose my mind

If nothing else, Aquas make great friends if you're in their inner circle. They'll give you the shirt off their backs to help a friend.

We prefer friends over anything else. Less drama.

I dont think you can get out of the friendzone. Once i put someone there, there's no coming back. I do it when my feelings have completely changed toward them. However i don't like losing the connection of friendship.

The fact that he texts you alot and introduced you to his close friends seems like a big deal. I don't do that unless they mean alot to me. But i think something happened during that meeting with the friends. The opinion of my best friend alone can have a dramatic effect on my relationships. Close friends and bffs were there long before you and will usually know who will fit.

Also you seem really into him. I'd tone down on that. I think we like intrigue and mystery or at least a bit of chase in the beginning. Move on, or at least pretend to move on.

When he introduced me to his friends, we hit it off and made plans to have a dinner party at my house. My Aqua even commented that his friends all liked me and he said I was a great conversationalist and his friends all hugged and kissed me when I left. That very same night, right after he intro'd me to his circle, he took me to a bar and painfully told me... he was sqirmming for 20 minutes and rambling and finally said he just wanted to be friends. He's 50 and I'm 48 and he's never been married and has no kids. He made up all kinds of reasons why which made no sense. He did mention that he wanted to maybe have a kid one day and that possibilty was not going to happen if he was with me.... THEN WHY START A RELATION SHIP WITH ME? The connection was really strong and I swear he persued me and I gave him all the spac and freedom, never pryed into his private life, did all the right things not to scare him off and look what happened? Im just going to focus on my life and just try to get over this mystery.

Nothing caused it. 90% of Aquas put all their potentials in the friendzone at one point or another. Stop looking at it like something you did and look at like something he did for HIM, as evidenced by still wanting to contact you.

The unusual and often bizarre courting ritual of Aquas is NOT everyone's bag of tea. If you don't like how it ended up then take your space. Right now you are letting him dictate the boundaries without setting any of your own and that comes off as desperate.

My advice, is date other people, it's less complicated. Love is like food, just because you had dinner one night at the best place ever, doesn't mean you stop eating unless it's always at that place.
