Any Aries personally feel like we are very misunderstood. Maybe I don’t relate as much to the things that people say as my chart is water dominate (also 2nd decan Aries) but I don’t think we are as bad as people make us out to be or are we?

Lol I don't think so Aries have a bad reputation, in fact Aries are my favourite Fire signs. 🔥

Maybe people think at first that they are rude, mean, because they indeed give off that 'nasty' 'badass' vibe, but that's because they don't like people to see their vulnerability, on the inside they're complete sweethearts once you get to know them well enough.

What ever sign you are, you’re our fave too! Lol. I know first impressions does count, I’ve made myself so weary of that growing up but I guess my Cancer rising naturally makes me quiet.

I just find that our lower vibrating energy and traits outshines our good side, it takes some work but we really do blossom into more gracious, glowing, and civilised rams. It can be a shame as I do feel we are one of most giving, loving people, who go out of there way for others. I think we are way more loyal than a lot of the signs gives us credit for we really do ride for, friends, family and lovers.

Nothing I guess, I think it annoys me that the women especially are seen as so unladylike because we are “masculine”. Most aries that I can hold our own in social settings and act accordingly as theres a time and place for everything, and also be very lady like. I’ve never even come across a “masculine” looking Aries, I mean we are the babies of the zodiac. I want to know who started that shit lol, that stereotype is a tad bit over played and boring to me.

People are soft, weak and corrupt nowadays. They can't handle Aries energy - we're the realest fire sign.

I agree with this and to be honest it’s just taught me to not speak on things anymore because before I would be seen as argumentative for just trying to make a point. Do you ever get this? I just take the high road now, it’s pointless. You just carry on being you though, us Rams are truly amazing.

Are they wrong when they say good stuff?

The only criticism that I have received growing up is how I can somewhat be argumentative, this is from family and friends, so I have learnt how to have “healthy” debates or I just don’t bother indulging in the conversation whatsoever. I find because we are the first sign, we can be self focused but mostly on learning to be the best versions of ourselves, so criticism is welcomed but only when we do love and care for you. Tbh I was just talking in general about the stereotypes given to us, especially the women I just think it’s a shame how we are painted. It’s not that I care for peoples opinions but my loved ones but I just want equality for us rams lol.

To be honest, I don't care or sweat other people's opinions are of me except for my family and employer. My employer pays my bills, so what they think is important.

I agree with this and I do feel the same, I just know we are so much more than the stereotypes but oh well as long as we know what we are then nothing else matters.

Absolutely nothing. We do have an issue with letting people in, I have been called stuck up and closed off so many times and I don’t care, not everyone is worthy of being close to me.

Being vulnerable creates attachments, that we will have a hard time letting go of, so I don’t take the risk. I am convinced we can put water signs to shame when we let people in.

I am sure your friend must of seen something special in you to have let you in, but thanks for your kind words about us.

Yes you're right, Aries people are actually loyal from what I've seen and been with in my lifetime, contrary to what most people think that they just leave someone without explanation for 'excitement'. My current best friend is the guy that I have my longest friendship with of 9 years, He's an Aries. A childhood friend of mine, my family shifted to a different city 2 years into our friendship, but even with the distance till this day we both are best friends, talk DAILY and meet each other every few months.

My first ever girlfriend again was an Aries in high school, never made me question her loyalty. I'll give her that one.

Like everyone there are positive and negative, the drawback, at least from what I've seen with passion is when its self indulgent passion. Selfish, reckless, careless or there can be compassionate passion, unity, selfless, influential.

I believe she started music as a child and carried that passion for music into her early 20s and her dying moment. Her music, style and image is still alive because she had that courage and passion.

There's also Lady Gaga, Emma Watson, Robert Downey Jr. and a few others. But from what I've seen, at least in these people theres a passion for something. Lady Gaga in embrace for all genders. Emma Watson for equality for women, Robert for emerging from drug problems to stardom.

I'm Aries Third Decan. I see first decan as being closest to classic aggressive go-getter. Aries-Leo, 2nd decan like you as being the entertainer, Eddie Murphy for example. Mine is Aries-Sag, so I live in my head a lot. I'm also Scorpio dominant.

With Aries really what people are afraid is the fact they are individual and assertive, it's same reason some people see Aquarius or Pisces as weird, simply because they have such a strong sense of self-identity.

One of my best friends of 15 years is a Pisces and the other of 12 years is a Libra. Both balance me out wonderfully, you Libras are honestly so amazing and I love how you see both sides of an issue, my mum is one and we are inseparable love her to death,

Nope second decan is said to be like a mix of Aries and Leo in terms of personality traits. First Decan is more like double Aries.

I have Scorpio Mars as well. People usually think I am calm, if I am dealing with an idiot in an argument I never back down, I also have the aggressive competitive temperament which some people would say is cockiness, but it isn't really. I think if anything the Scorpio side makes me hide things, so a lot of my anger is internalized and mainly manifests itself in dark sarcastic, but often overtly sexual humour. When I was younger I used to fight people quite a bit and I used to cry a lot as well, because things were overwhelming and it felt like I couldn't cope. I sometime break stuff and shout obscenities, but I've become a bit more mellow. A lot of people think I am moody and even upset or as I say mellow, but in a negative "blue" way, in fact I'm just taking things in and if I'm indifferent towards someone it's probably because I find them either toxic or a grade a imbecile who needs to get out of the gene pool.

Saw this on front page and its relevant to my life currently what Im witnessing with one. I think a big part of it is the bad Aries traits that rub people the wrong way. Its like from the outside stopping breathe weigh options, consequences calm down etc. But in a lot of cases this is just not how it goes. People witness different things and it can get to be like Im not dealing with that. No sense sugar coating it and acting like there arent issues that people experience lack of sufficient maturity can turn people off not growing and learning and advancing and being just...undeal withable for lack of a different term. Not saying this Applies to every Aries at all but sometimes hey the question was asked Im assuming to see what are some reasons for some perceptions. It can get pretty ridiculous with some individuals.

Are you Taurus? I would say Taureans can be one of the most "adult" signs, but even they are prone to tantrums and immaturity like passive aggressiveness (silent treatment and back chat in their case).

I actually don't disagree with what you have posted. As you say it depends on the individuals, I've met immature Virgos and Aquarians so it's not just an Aries thing. With Aries we basically think we are right about 90% of the time and someone needs to convince us otherwise, our own pig headedness and what some people would call ego can convince and lead people to basically do anything even if it is jumping off a cliff. That is an amazing skill to have just unflinching confidence.

TBH I don't think people are more mature if they weigh up options. Libras I find wish-washy and passive aggressive - two traits I consider to be negative. Virgos often move too slow and lack confidence in themselves.

We are aggressive because we want to be top dog or cat. We do the reverse of Scorpios where they rule by "topping from the bottom" and behind the scenes, we rule by our own overt dominance and fiery energy, put us in a room with a Libra dominant whose our boss and we will be ordering them around because we radiate authority.

I've grown up a lot and I don't do the temper tantrums as much anymore, but still argue with people. Why? Because I'm right and they are wrong, like Leos, Taurus, Scorps, Cappys and Virgos we have really high standards and good isn't good enough; like virgos we want perfection. Things like not putting the bin out or someone going to work in dirty clothes will piss us off.

Idk this is crazy. I always thought I am very Aries. I grew up with two Aries best friends, a girl and a boy. We were very alike, so I thought we were true Aries. All of us were very shy, quite, straight-A students. We were short with baby faces. I was called a "doll" until my teenage years, after that I was called "Barbie" lol. But, after reading zodiac description, nothing really related. All that loud mouth, energetic, likes to fight, very masculine. No! No! No! I feel some internal power, masculine logic maybe. I don't follow heart and emotions, I listen to logic and brain, only this sounds true.

I am "masculine" when the tradional pych/sociological terms: logic, ambition, independence, violent, aggressive, stoic, etc.

But, I look very feminine...no man looking at deep dimples, 34F's on a 5'2, 130 lb. frame, and juicy booty thinks "damn, she masculine," Lol.
