I've only been with, Biblically speaking, 2 Cancers. From my experience, Cancer sex drive comes in peaks and valleys. Catch them during a peak, and he may very well nail you 3-6 times in a single day. During a valley, he may not ejaculate or desire to for days.
Three times in a single day really is quite a bit. Easier to sustain in the early stages when you want to fvck all the time. So think about that long term. If he can't keep up now, after only a month, it's only going to get worse. A sex drive as high as yours, you need to find someone who seriously loves to have sex, and also has the time to. Single daddys, 80-hour per week career bros, casual partners whom are dating others, etc. are probably not the best choice.

My sex drive often reflects the guy I'm with, but I'm coming out of a FWB relationship where we had sex on average 5 times a night. The most was him getting off q0 times in 10 hours. So, going from that to one or two times is a bit of a change.
The other issue besides him working 70 hours a week is he drinks, smokes and gets high on occasion. He actually told me the other night that's why he was having problems.
I do worry that after being together 5 weeks the sex has crawled to a halt, then long term it's going to be a once a month event. The weird thing is he says every time he sees me all he wants to do is fck me.

Don't backtrack. You initially said you had a high sex drive, and not that it adjusts according to the guy you are with. And if that was true, the frequency in this relationship wouldn't be an issue for you. It's not a big change unless you went straight from the FWB to this guy. If you're single and then you get with someone, you're going from having 0 sex, to whatever it is with that person. Unless you frequently bed casual partners. It's also a REALLY good idea to not compare a current lover with a past one.
The more we talk about this, the more apparent it becomes that you are not getting the time, or the sex you would like out of this guy. I also don't see that time and frequency increasing anytime soon based on your information.
