This is the understanding I have of it today, not just close contact. She’s yet to share the update furthermore as to how long the droplets or whatever are active, but she generally updates me as soon as she has more info.

I felt fine Monday. Tuesday I felt feverish and the injection site started to look and itch like a mosquito bite. Today the bump has gotten bigger and is still itchy. Hoping it calms down soon because it’s so hard not to itch it.click to expand

I thought of using hydrocortisone but I didn’t want to interrupt my bodies immune response or anything.
Now it’s no longer itchy; there’s just a bright red welt.

Well I do applaud you for thinking ahead and trying to not only take care of yourself but other people potentially too. I hope that your immunity process is worth it and that you don’t have to deal with the full on wreckage of these sicknesses. I don’t like the idea of vaccines, but I generally think that the inconvenience of the main side effects beats the heck out of the full blown version if you actually come down with it. I remember my ex's IUD. Odd feeling hitting that. Please make a appointment if you feel any soreness of discomfort inside. It's possible to damage the cervixs if it gets badly dislodged and causes damage.

The world would benefit from the Whorpio line ending with me. I am too selfish to be a mother, and I lack the emotional resources to handle a creature with complex needs being completely dependent on me.
Animals are about the peak level of complexity I can handle as a mother. And I do take my job as a fur-parent seriously (though I am currently pet-less as I am still grieving the passing of my first fur-child in August 💛)

When I'm not making medical grade compounds and reagents, I'm handling 'interesting' infectious diseases. They won't let me work without it.
Okay so this something I think about (unrelated to vaccines).
Now, I’m not sure what diseases you are working with, whether they have already been established as threats to humans or what not.
But in the case of those virus labs where they try to replicate zoonotic viruses, why does it fucking matter to scientists? Like if there was a virus that only existed in a species of animal that lives in a remote part of the jungle that no one ever explores, why do scientists go out of their way to disrupt nature and obtain those viral particles to experiment with in the lab? Seems suspicious to me, but also I feel like in our pursuit of “understanding” nature we are destroying nature (in all ways: we are destroying our own species, we are destroying Mother Earth, we are destroying animals, etc)

How does one know whether or not they should be on PrEP? Like should you base your decision on how many partners you actively see? Or is having more than 1 partner enough reason to get on PrEP?

Is HIV really that common though? I think my hesitation is the fact that I’m a woman who doesn’t use IV drugs, nor would I sleep with someone who does.
I guess I see my only risk being the bisexual men I sleep with, but if I really felt endangered by them I’d end my relations with them.

When it comes to premonitions about others, I allow myself to think I’m just crazy, forget about it, and then when it comes true I’m like 😳
I don’t think I can choose not to go when I’m 40; I don’t know what the cause of death will be, but I think it’s one of those things that will happen if the universe wills it to.
I’m unaware of psychics in my family. My dad said when he was little he used to see people walk through walls, but I think most kids see those things. My moms history is a little more nuanced because she’s from a foreign country.
I do not live the life style I do for the higher knowledge. Though I will say I learn a lot about someone from sex; I compare it to plugging a USB drive into a computer. There is more I want to share, but I think there is a possibility I’m just crazy and therefore I will opt out of posting publicly.

Yes my mom made me get it when I was 16, but I didn’t complete the series back then (it’s a 2-dose series). When I had an HPV scare when I was 21 I had to restart the series (2 shots). From what I recall it was painful as they injected it, but I was fine afterwards.
My immune system was stronger back then, however, than it is now. Now, anytime I get a shot I get a fever.
