And has been for week or so now?

Nothing is working and he's not helping

or DOING nothing* though I contact

Multiple times

There should be some form of communication between the user AND who ever is in charge here... currently.

There should be communication in a way where users know what updates

are coming and warn of future slow downs that were on the horizon to the site.

Possible shutdowns, bugs, glitches and anything that are to be possible inconveniences should be warned.





Because Dxpnet risk the chance of losing more and more users due to THESE inconveniences.

We've already seen other sites or forums created to hold the attention of jaded or flustered

users when the site would abruptly shut down (with no warning) and eventually there could BE another forum

created that holds our attention indefinitely where none of the users would even want to return.

Yes, there will always be new users arriving but if this lack of communication, LACK of engagement

with the users, with us, were to continue, then who knows how long these new users will stay and

they could even be convinced to not even stay by the users on the new competitive site.

It would just be an endless cycle of dxpnet trying to figure out how to hold our attention

when the core root of the problem lies with some form of communication with the users.

Answer: bulletin or something on the front page that lets everyone know

what was to come to the site and why certain malfunctions were occurring.

2. There should also be communication with users who are experiencing

glitches or malfunctions with their own profile. We shouldn't have

to go through profile challenges alone, ESPECIALLY when contacting

dxpnet through the site, email , or twitter lends us to *silence* leading us to believe we are ALONE

in the situation.





Because not engaging with a user who is having technical difficulties with their profile gives off the

impression that the user is ALONE in the situation and that YOU, the moderator, is ((NOT)) concerned.

Granted, you've done a marvelous job with helping and aiding with out even

saying a word and I THANK YOU ((but)) how long can this go on without the risk of further confusion

and assumed alienation due to lack of communication ESPECIALLY if your method of aiding FAILS.

How can we fix or improve this?

You, the creator or admin of the site could engage with the users and let them know

WHY they are locked out (not banned), invisible, and going through any other new hindrance (or precaution)

that could be sorted through email, thread, or something through dxpnet to let us know you care about us

beyond what ever financial gain you may earn because of our involvement to the site.

And I'm aware that maybe the lack of communication from you could be to protect the site or even yourself,

but this form or aiding (lack of engaging with us) is without a doubt a risk and could potentially

be the downfall of the site so I urge you to reconsider how you go about helping..

I truly love the site and the people here

and so I only say all of this to help improve what is already a sacred community to me. ..

...well all of us (free users as well as subscribers) use something more valuable

than money to be on the site which is our time. And usually when one uses a huge

amount of time on anything they generally *would* go in the direction/action of NOT seeing that thing end..

I was aware that me creating such a thread would come off as an eye sore or me being B*tchy or whiny

but please know this was a last resort, a plan z, after my other efforts has failed.

Me pointing out issues and giving advice to him though is me being productive, getting some type of ball rolling

in the direction that the issues here are eliminated so that the site does NOT

eventually end. I'm not simply just ranting and raving for the sake of nothing.

well, its a free site. How many times we thanked this Duncan guy for running it for yeeeears? We cant be that entitled. Its like when I watch some series online (free) and people berate the person who is doing the subtitles... like: how it comes the subtitles are not on?? how long we have to wait—!!! and I always thought: you moron, let it be, otherwise we dont get subtitles at all, its not like you are paying for it so you are entitled to a service, its free for god´s sake!!

This site runs for how many years? it is perfectly possible that Duncan is more interested now in some other things, or just get fed up with the trolling unbalanced happy-to-be-banned-because-it-means-you-are-badass-and-you-are-a-nobody-if-you-havent-got-banned-at-all mentality

No one here really uses astrology. There are much better places to go if that's what you're looking for.. and it's evident not soon after you join here. People don't stick around here for astrology.

People stay here because they feel a sense of community.

I think its really us now who is running this site.... can we step up to the plate or get lost in petty trolling

Most people that join look for advice from next of kin or some sort and then move on when they get it. Others tend to stick around like us and make it a rather interesting place to be. Duncan is just the head dude who give this site a once over and leave and not come back for days, weeks, months or even years.

I don't have one. Even though I did made multiple accounts to try and get one that would not be invisible. I deleted the others and gave up. Though I did get banned for it for a little while. I tried to appeal about it. I wonder if that fixed my account.
