Passion is feirce; romance is tender.
Passion = Boil
Romance = Simmer
Passion = Intensity
Romance = Tenderness
Passion = Raw, unfiltered, unprocessed emotion (and the actions resulting from)
Romance = Processed, polished, beautified emotion (and the actions resulting from)
Similar but different concepts, but not necessarily exclusive ones. Passion and romance can both be present, or it can merely be one or the other. Variety is the spice of life...
BWAHHH!
touche!
well played KennyG! well played!
Damn, I like kennyg's answer better... 😢
Though, I would say spontaneous would fit into passion, and romance would be more consistent.
love it, kenny!
hold on...i'm still laughing....
BWAAAHHHH!!!
OMG ... you are killing me.
🙂
Kenny, can I use that as my answer to Mr. Libra's question? He asked me if I possessed more passion or more romance and/or if there was a difference between the two.
Man, that is hilarious....drive cross country in a space diaper. ..fitting since the chick lives in Houston.
My feelings:
Both passion and romance are thought processes and actions stem from love (though, passion can stem from many other things, i.e. - anger, hate, beliefs, etc.).
That being said, passion and the actions resulting from it are intense, fiery, consuming, inhibiting (for the most part) any higher level mental capabilities. "I feel therefore I act" kind of thing. The end result (even actions) are still nothing more than pure, raw emotion.
Romance, on the other hand, utilizes higher level mental capabilities like intelligence, creativity, and strategy to beautify and polish the end result into an art form all its own...
I think when a man says it means something like:
- Passion is short and forcefull
- Romance is slow and longlasting
PASSION: drive / desire / lust / laser beam focus / strong action / NOW
ROMANCE: mellow / small touches / tenderness / taking your time / gentle focus / wooing
(What IS the difference between a Cave Man and Cary Grant—)
Passion is the expression of the desire of a carnal realization. To have your emotions transend your body and manifest in anothers to make the realization become truth.
Romance is the expression of through intillect, the need to transcend emotion idealistically, to manifest yor feelings within another persons mind to make the realization become truth.
Both are the desire to show something, sitting in your open hand, something you want received from you and then reciprocated through inspiration.
oh i definitely know the difference after tonight!!!!!!!
