How to Encourage a Libra from a Divorced Family to Believe in Marriage

Helping a Libra from a divorced family believe in marriage involves building trust and demonstrating stability. Focus on open communication, showing commitment, and respecting her independence. Patience and consistent support can help her see marriage as a partnership rather than a constraint.

A libra girl has a divorced parent family, she grows up in a single mother family. So she does not believe in marriage.

It seems she only knows how to attract man, but don't know how to keep a man. She acts too too too independent.

How to make her believe in marriage ?

Maybe yeah those men weren’t worth keeping around

Nothing wrong with being independent.

You’re dealing with a woman who doesn’t NEED you. Tough ego death for a lot of men to take nowadays.

So you’re going to have to make her WANT you.

How do you present yourself?

Do you know how to communicate or only judge her?

Are you consistent?

Are you pleasant to be around?

Do you make money?

it’s not her belief in marriage that’s the issue. It’s her choices that are underwhelming.

Are you underwhelming?

What’s wrong with being independent? Doesn’t mean no marriage..

are you expecting her to be your picture of marriage material? If so, leave her alone. She may get married one day with someone who accepts her for her, but certainly not someone who doesn’t accept her for who she is.

If your asking how you can manipulate someone into wanting and believing the same things as yourself... imma save you some time and energy and tell you to TAKE PEOPLE AS THEY ARE. This isn't a Disney movie. This is her life. If she "acts too independent" for you then keep it moving. Nobody asked you to change her, certainly least of all her.

Getting married it's not important to me either. What can a marriage do for you that a relationship can't beside the legal aspects?

Seems you want to control her? Isn't being independent a good thing?

Definitely control.

Because now with marriage off the table there is no carrot to dangle.

If she doesn't want to get married that's her problem if it's even a problem to begin with. It's her choice and her life.

Nobody cares about your stupid made up fantasy or ideal partnership except someone who already shares those values/ideals.

So what should you do? Move on and look for someone more compatible. Duh!

Being raised by a mother alone doesnt make one not believe in marriage

And being independent doesnt make a bad wife. Libra IS VERY independent. Maybe shes not the one for you? Until I was mid 30s I was loyal but v flighty. I had life to live! Places to go and people to see. Life was a great adventure and I wouldn't let a guy hold me back. I eventually married at 35 and couldnt have imagined it a day sooner.
