There are real things to get angry about out in the world.
This is literally nothing.

I just typed a 4 paragraph rage reply, but dxp decided to crash the browser. Sweet, my angery has been saved.
Also fuck whatever code this engine runs on, I hope the programmer who worked on this site dies in a fire. (mini-rage)

Okay lets stop this shit right now.
First off, They as a singular pronoun has been in consistent use as such since about the 1300's according to academics and Merriam-Fucking Webster.
The use of the word 'they' as a nonbinary pronoun is frankly needed. It has always been needed and would actually put English at parity with many other major WESTERN and Eastern/Near East languages such as French, German, Swedish, Icelandic, Greek, Hebrew (you know the official language of the Jews...the same Jews who kinda made Christianity) Spanish and Portuguese, Russian and trust the list goes on.
The same dictionary states that evidence in their files of the nonbinary use of they dating back to 1950, and contends confidently that likely there are earlier uses of the nonbinary pronoun they out there.
This article revises hundreds of years of English convention in pursuit of a nonsense stance that isn't based in reality and fact.

plz enlight me, what neutral pronoun do spanish speaking people use.
as far as I know, romance languages have gender specific nouns matched by the gender specific pronoun
even if there is a old, pronoun, if nobody uses it, is pretty much dead, that's why they is ridiculousclick to expand

lmao what? đ
that only means cone, there's also coĂąo, but no đ
truth is, you can't use a neutral pronoun in spanish, and pretty sure most romance languages, almost all noun have a gender, is like english speakers saying "they" the priest and "they" the priestesses, you didn't do anything, changing every single noun to fit a neutral pronoun is just crazyclick to expand

Question:
The Virgo refers to my dick as a "he".
How do I know if that's his (?) preferred gender?
Should the dick be referred to as "they" or "it"?
Maybe as a "Dxck"?

I now self define myself as God.
You must refer to me as "My Lord and Master" or suffer my wrath ( or at least that of aggrieved people everywhere ).

None of my trans friends wanted to be called anything but the gender they felt they were. In transition, you could tell whether him/her.
Why all these cis gender ppl feel the need to label ppl transphobic when they fighting for something that doesnât concern them.
Heck itâs a self promoting need to feel they are altruistic or empathetic. Most probably donât even know any trans people.
Sure there are trans ppl caught up in the pronoun rights, but that doesnât speak for everyone.

Who cares?!? They can use whatever pronoun THEY want.... It has nothing to do with you.

On average in the United States about 6 out of every 1000 people identify as "trans" or "gender neutral" (can vary by location, higher or lower).
Those are self reporting numbers, so take maybe one off that figure for people who aren't trans or neutral and are just people like your crazy uncle Larry who likes to wear women's underwear under his normal clothes, leaving you with maybe 5 out of a thousand people.
You can likely assume an equal gender split of about 2 bio men 2 bio female, leaving probably 1 person who identifies as neutral.
1 out of a thousand people. So maybe there are 3 total gender neutral people at an average Florida Marlins home game.
I think the likelihood of needing to use the pronoun "they" is slim. Much like running into any trans person in general unless you seek them out.

Youâre probably right about the numbers. This goes beyond that and actually the article isnât about trans people at all.
The article is about using âtheyâ to address EVERYONE as to not accidentally offend ANYONE.
