Or is it just a cop out?I've been feeling stagnant and complacent for a long while and I think I need something to jump start me. So I'm thinking of either buying a house or moving.
But then I'm reminded of this quote from Daria:
And idk.
So - to those of you that have relocated due to feeling the same way - did it help?
Shit was awesome. Should of did it earlier.
moved across country and im much happier. im in a place more conducive to, and accepting of, my life style and career choices. beautiful place i love to be! now thats not to say every move has been a success but how would you know unless you try? trust your gut and go where you feel you can be your best you. just remember any personal problems will follow you wherever you go. assess why you want to move and make sure it's in your best interest for growth.

How old were you when you moved?
Where'd you move from and to?
What about it was awesome?

Hmmm...you sound miserable where you're currently staying so maybe it would be better if you move
I am slightly miserable. But I'm trying to figure out how much of it is internal vs. external.
That's my dilemma.

it helped me. i moved 1200 miles away from my family. it kicked my ass to actually do more with my life and since i left the drama behind i finally in the first time in my life felt free.
Don't let fear of the unknown or just fear in general hold you back.

On a serious note though, moving does help when you have too many memories/emotions tied to a place and you're just tired of it. You want a fresh slate in a place where you can just be in the moment. Doesn't happen that way for everyone but it is a practical reality for many.
This. all of THIS!
you can move in with me

For me it was night and day. I cant say from and to where I moved, but places in the united states are very different from each other, think extremes of pro-trump vs pro-hillary and thats how my moves have been. I also know of women who had trouble getting dates and moved to areas that were more in their favor and their lives changed 180 for the better too.

So I'm thinking of either buying a house or moving.
You have the means to buy a house and haven't?! Renting is the worse tho.
Do it!!!! Do it!!! Buying would be ideal to give you purpose in life to work harder to build a new life it will bring tons of responsibility and fulfillment and happiness and stress but good stress because it's all your hard efforsts paying off day by day!!!
I've been living in this city for eleven years. It never got better. On the web some site says this city is a Gemini which is my opposite sign. Previously I was in another city for 17 years and life was much better than this. That city had my 12th house sign.
In this city I could not even remember how streets connect to each other. And I have natural locating capabilities anywhere else in the world. Not to mention how love life suffers from it. And how from the beginning there was disease and death in my family.
I will relocate for sure.
IDK about moving.. but, maybe it's just a phase..?
But I agree with MonkeyintheMoon.. whereever your go, there you are.. 🙂
Maybe you can travel new places in your own place?? whenever I feel like I need to see something new, I just walk through new streets/lanes or just keep walking even in ones I'm used to, to see where it leads me, seeing everything/everyone as if I'm seeing for first time.. it's nice actually, feels very refreshing.
