I am the same exact way.
It takes a lot for me to really get sucked into a television show. I lose interest fast.

I spent quite a few years not watching television at all. I would sometimes go to the library and check out television series.
Now with Netflix and DVR, I'm very selective.

I only have certain shows that I tune into when they are on like the drama-filled shows on VH1 (Love & Hip Hop, Basketball Wives.. Etc.).. other than that I don't watch much tv..
I like classics also like Martin, The Wayan Brothers, Living Color, Living Single, Friends, Seinfeld.... etc.. I even tune into Nick when they play Hey Arnold, All That, Kenan and Kel etc..
Again, it's rare that you'll find me tuned into a tv but those are my interest..
OHHHHH, I'm addicted to Empire.. Never miss a Wednesday when those seasons are on!

Recently though, I've begun watching TV in the bathtub. So luxurious. Helps me keep still and take longer baths.
