I asked this question because a guy recently said "I'm gonna tell you right now I'm not that big." He said this because we were in the sex shop laughing at all the toys. I have never had sex with him, but I have always thought more about how passionate it would be and I never honestly wondered what size it was. However. he got me thinking if all guys are self conscious about it before they sleep with someone for the first time, and if this varies depending on what type of relationship they want with a person.

Society in general places a high value on penis size just like it places high value on large breasts ( or any number of other characteristics) for women. It's safe to assume that there are men who are insecure about their ding dong just like women are insecure about their boobs. Being in a sex shop surrounded by mostly unrealistic ideals of human anatomy probably doesn't help.

I really could care less about my boobs though I have shemedium sized boobs and I'm fine with them and I came from a family with mostly big boobed women. I just figured that with age and time that people get more confident about their bodies I guess it makes sense that he be insecure. He is insecure about his weight as well, but he's 30 years old. He must've had sex a couple times now. But I guess you're right with society making a big deal about penis sizes.

I never really thought twice about it until I ran into just one chick who thought it was too small. Just one. But she also had a large vagina, so it was simply a matter of physical incompatibility rather than too small/too big.
