I dont see how that's evil. People are too easy to judge and project their own definitions of good, evil, right, wrong and etc. on the others. If i don't know the actual situation and the two parties' sincere mentality and feelings i am not the one to make the call. Having a relationship with a partner who is way younger/older than you is not evil per se.

If they arrenged them together then this is more dangerous and police should know about it.
It's not about legality, but letting a young girl be free from manipulations from older ppl.

All the kids in our son's school who are going off the rails have indifferent parents or they do the same things and don't set a good example..ie, smoking, drinking etc...so the kids grow up thinking that is okay. Some single mothers bring other men into the family and the kids can't hack it. I know one girl whose mother and father have new partners and now the girl is in therapy because she says neither her mum and dad are *there* for her....they are more into their lovers...
Parents have a lot to answer for....if you are going to have children, look after them for God's sake 😐

I don't remember making bad choices at 16. Maybe this whole thing is delusional or maybe they really like eachother. How can it be predatory when maybe the guy has no malice? If the individual is of the age of consent (i.e., they're "legal") then it's none of my business. I can have my opinion on the matter (along with playing around with whatever "what if" scenarios involving my non-existent children in a non-existent relationship in some future I'm projecting), but that doesn't give me the right to arbitrarily inject myself into the affairs of others, especially in the absence of any physical harm/abuse as far as I could know.

Whether it's 'evil' or not is irrelevant. It's ILLEGAL.
The state has determined that children are physically, emotionally, and mentally unable to choose for themselves to engage in sex with an adult.
So to answer the op, not only would I tell the parents I'd also inform law enforcement.
