What I find funny is that so many people talk about how wonderful it would be to meet a soulmate, but the reality is as people, we spend so much time in the real world developing out "mask" constantly, at work, a lot of general interactions and sometimes even with family. We subconsciously train ourselves to bury those feelings, deep, deep, deep,, deep down, that when a soulmate comes around, who can literally read us just through eye contact, we run away and reject them out of fear because the can see too much too fast. Other than my dad, I dont know too many Male scorpio moons.
Maybe they arent comfortable with the feminine energy.
Although as a father, the family unit was tight and hard to penetrate.
The men seem to just need to feel emotionally safe. Not so much safe to Express them but to have them.
Even Will Smith isnt outwardly romantic but he is possessive, spiritual and obsessive. He demands respect in his household.
Ben Affleck is another one. Has trouble with intimacy but really just wants a safe consistent emotionally balanced environment.

Actually yes. I don't remember posting this, but know exactly where I was coming from. Its like putting all your hopes and expectations into someone because they stroke your ego to the point you feel like a king. But then you realize they don't actually look at you like a king, but as someone who will give them everything they could ever want. Truth be told they never put in any real effort towards you on an emotional/ relatiable level. Hence the more I give the less I get
I've always had a problem with white knighting women who don't deserve my true effort, then feeling like I got nothing out of it in the long run. It's because I tried to fix someone's life who didn't truly want or deserve it in the first place. I still do that shit today, but feel like I'm learning. Cancer venus strikes again!

I'm a Leo with Cancer Moon.
My ex and I jumped into relationship territory quickly, and he pushed for us to make long term plans for the next time we'd see each other (LDR) and even get married and have kids and have his parents' house after they pass away. He wouldn't allow me to hang out with my friends in the area most days, and he would always make excuses like "But you're special. You should separate yourself from them because you're ranked higher than almost all of them" which made me cringe hard, or he'd say like "Do you have to be there?" and obviously the answer was no, but I wanted to hang out with my friends... Stuff like that. Everything just progressed way too quickly and he was so smothering that I don't think I'm that clingy/smothering anymore.
