We want a partner that is competent. That knows what they want and goes and gets it. Accomplished and successful is a bonus. Someone that is established and can stand on their own 2 feet, this is key.

It was ME who wasn't budging!
He became very insecure.
I mean ffs I'd just had a baby and she was only 4 months when he arrived in my life.
Plus with a controlling husband at home I was pretty screwed up. But hiding it from the Pisces.
So because i wasn't telling the Pisces what i was going through back then, he got upset and insecure because I wasn't budging.
So i guess i deserve it now!

Your aries husband was controlling and put you through hell, so you gravitated towards the Pisces who was in many ways his opposite.
But all his talk of 'our partners are horrible we should leave them and be together' was just that, talk. It serves a purpose for him. Creates something you have in common together and builds an emotional bond. He's cheated on all his past partners that you know of. He's had practice at this.

Oh god Yes!
He has definitely had practice!
For example..
In the first year or so of seeing each other, he began to text me "I can't get space. I need space."
I thought WTF?? I didn't know what he meant! Because for me to have space for a moment in a relationship, I just go upstairs for a few mins. I may need to think about something in peace so I'd say to my husband "back in a second." Just to sort something out in my head. Then come downstairs to talk to him after.
So with Pisces I though 'Just go to the toilet. Or the kitchen or another room!' I thought he wanted normal space like I do sometimes
Once I realised that he actually meant 'space' to message me while she's in the house, aka Space to Cheat, I was stunned by how easily he said it. Like he was practised at this.!
Another scenario of the same practised behaviour...
He works from home. She goes out to work.
So he'd call me in between meetings, emails, work stuff etc.
However sometimes she'd come home for lunch. Or he'd call when he'd finished work.
Both times on the phone he would tell me "I think she's home. I can hear her car outside."
So he get me off the phone quickly!
WTFF!!?
He actually Knew the SOUND of her CAR!
He also told me he can see the street clearly from the upstairs window.
He literally Didn't Need to Even THINK about doing this! This behaviour happened as naturally as breathing! Like he's dine it lots of times before!

So without mentioning my situation l..

Cap mars is more calculated and slow moving when it comes to initiative. Whereas Aries mars is the initiator, the first to make the move, bold to action.
In your situation it seems the opposite. You (cap mars) are the one pushing for change whereas he (Aries mars) is content with his situation as he has not budged in 7 years.
So if we are looking at surface astrology he is content with his choices and situation.

It was ME who wasn't budging!
He became very insecure.
I mean ffs I'd just had a baby and she was only 4 months when he arrived in my life.
Plus with a controlling husband at home I was pretty screwed up. But hiding it from the Pisces.
So because i wasn't telling the Pisces what i was going through back then, he got upset and insecure because I wasn't budging.
So i guess i deserve it now!

He initiated fucking.
He didn't initiate leading by example and leaving his partner.
He didn't initiate financial independence but continues to live off of his gf.
He didn't initiate actually being with you in a meaningful committed way.
Don't mistake the effort a guy makes at the beginning to get his dick wet as initiating anything significant.
And don't you DARE internalize him gaslighting you as your fault. He got distant because its hard work to juggle your gf and sick chick(s). Especially when the side chick starts pushing to move in together and for him to leave her and actually be with you.
You don't create distance and roadblocks when you truly want to be with someone. The opposite really.
He has deep-seated mother issues. Long story. She never loved him etc so...He expects his partners to provide for him like a mother does for her son.
Home. Life. Security. Safety. And Love. He doesn't want to have to do anything. And anytime his partner asks him to do stuff he comes whining to me about how she 'expects' him to do this and that!?
She is literally his mum!
Eww. Huge turn off for Cap mars.
We all have deep-seated father/mother/childhood issues. Its not an excuse for lack of growth. And here you are making excuses for him. Double ewww.
I think you are dodging a bullet here. Imagine he leaves her and becomes your second child expecting you to take care of his every need, wipe his ass, pay the bills. You would bend over backward to meet his needs all while he bends other woman backward to scratch the one itch you can't as his partner... his urge to cheat.

But all his talk of 'our partners are horrible we should leave them and be together' was just that, talk. It serves a purpose for him. I'm just hurting so badly. Because I've realised that Yes he's controlling etc but I never wanted to share my child by only seeing her half the time and also having the pain of another woman touching my child.
I've realised too late that i am in fact one of those women that stays in the marriage for the sake of the children. I'm in agony every day at only seeing my child 50% of the time.
I could easily have stayed with my husband if I'd just knuckled down by getting rid if the Loser and Waster Pisces and going to couple therapy with my husband.
Plua my husband worked all day from 8am - 6pm so for 10hours a day I had my child to myself, the house to myself and my life to myself.
I then went out to work myself at the gym for an hour or 2 once he got home.
So once I got home and showered it was about 9pm. We went to bed at 100m. So i could easily have coped.
HAD I GOT RID OF TRASHBAG PISCES GUY!
I only saw him 1 hr a night. Then at the weekend its the 3 of us.
I've lost everything..and I'm very very sad
