You don't really overcome it per se. You just choose to accept it or not. Usually most people's pride hurt and that's the kicker to decide if they leave, but there are people who are more accepting of infidelity. It'll usually be there in the back of your mind no matter what you do, and it all comes down to how much you really love that person.

My ‘ex’ Scorp is still living with his wife after she cheated on him and it takes toll on him visibly day by day.
Cancer divorced his wife after he found out about her infidelity because he said whatever you do - it’s on the back of your brain and eats hole in it - so he filed and they divorced and she married that man she cheated with. Comical is that she doesn’t speak to Cancer but her husband and Cancer are ok with each other! It’s been 10 years ago and they have kids but she is mad that he divorced her! Crazy!
So I am thinking about the 2 men when one is living daily with a woman who he knows messed up majorly (it was ugly) and looking at her and there is no way he forgot because he said once ‘I don’t forget. I’ll take it to the grave!’
Why and how is he doing it? I’ve lectured him on reconciliation and he said there is no way. But he wouldn’t leave. And here they say money isn’t most important thing for a Scorpios.

They broke up not long ago. In 2 years they manged to blew up 2 families and her parents company. The guy simply stole all business contract connections and left.
Now the pressure is back on me to "go back". It scares me. My parents want to, the whole family thinks that. The kids are only 9 and 11. But I aint' going back. It's in the back of my head, and the only way I can accept it, is if I move on with somebody else. But I already feel I will be blamed for not fixing it.
So your Cancer might be like that also. We go sideways, but we don't go backwards.
