Ladies!! You want to KNOW if your man is REALLY into you? Ask him this!

This topic was created in the Relationships forum by Moonbutter on Sunday, July 17, 2016 and has 35 replies.

How to Know if Your Man Truly Loves You

Asking if you make him happy reveals his genuine feelings more than just hearing I love you. A man who truly cares will confidently say you bring him happiness and show it through his actions. Watch for his reaction when you ask, as hesitation may indicate insincerity or lack of deeper affection.

Ladies... Dont look at the "I love you" as the litmus test, instead ask him this. Ask him if you make him happy. We all want to be with someone who makes us happier, right? So I discovered that's what was missing from my relationships I never heard that "you make me happier" I just heard " I love you" and where did that get me? Yes, a one-way ticket to single town. It took a guy to straight up just tell me " you make me happy" to realize this is what we should be looking for. And I'm not talking sex, we never had sex he just likes who I am as a person and that makes him happier. And ladies, once they say that you will see in their actions. So ask your man this and watch his reaction. If he hesitates or looks uncomfortable then cut him loose and be available for the man who will find happiness just being with you, as a person which is not replaceable 🙂

It's not easy to come across a real gentleman, these days.

All I can do is to just use my head and create one in my own world. A hero that looks like Liam Hemsworth will do me good. Ahhhh... LOL

You know, I have come to this conclusion based on my own experiences and just recently having met a man who is a commitmentphobe but he's the one telling everyone he's my bf and backing up everything in actions. He's showing me and telling me I make him a happier man and no sex! What a concept! But really sex blurs those lines fit everyone and creates confusion and heartbreak where it could have been avoided.

Hmmm good point

Haha well if you ask a man a question he is not prepared for I believe you will get a genuine response whether verbally or non verbally.

Not true with me, I will get defensive and put a wall up. Some also believe if you get people drunk you're more liable to get the truth, it can happen but it's unreliable to depend on.

Actions > words is 100% true though, I believe this too.

So I took this topic's advice and went and asked him.

His reply was "No, because women are trouble. When you're by yourself..the highs aren't as high...but the lows are never really low. It's a state of ease/peacefulness/contentment as opposed to an emotional roller coaster"

Now what?

Do you think he's for real? What sign is he? I don't know. I am afraid of all this talks when it comes to men.

They can actually manipulate you. They might do things like that today and be something else tomorrow.

I hope he really mean what he said else I am gonna kill him for you!

Yes, but really the difference between a man feeling happiness with you and just happy to be with you is night and day.

How is it night and day?

Same man can be happy with you on Monday and with other woman on Wednesday.

When they are hunting and getting a woman they are happy!

Do they love those women? No, they are just happy to win! It is not as easy as you

described. Yes you make him happy while together. But is he happy to commit?

Here is 2 different situations...

Doesn´t matter.

I dated a guy for a long time who kept telling me how happy I made him and that things were way better after he met me. Didn´t want to be my boyfriend still.

If you question it all the time, love ain´t there.

Love comes and goes without warning.

Sometimes you think it is love but you see him had said or done

something and 'love' is poof! No more...

So my friend dumped her bf after she saw how he was with his mom.

She had never seen him being nasty to his mother after she had aged.

She said enough! Love went poof!

When I am asking if he still loves me I just want to hear him saying it

because it sounds so good to hear. I am not doubting it - I just please my years.🙂

Once I said 'if you ever feel like voluntiring your condession - feel free.

Next day he called and I asked what's up and he said I love you and we

had a long laugh. It felt awesome!

Just because I'm happy with you dosent mean I'm gonna stay. I gotta see a future. You can be an amazing woman and make me happy but just not be the one I can love. Then again, I can love you and not stay either.

what would make you stay?

Honestly, I don't know that answer. I guess it would have to be the "total package". If that even exist. I guess I'll be able to answer that when I don't leave.

Dang girl ... I would ask what he meant by that. Like what does he mean he gets more of a high by being with someone?

I mean...when you are with someone there is this new dimension of relating since there's emotional involvement. It can go on either ends of the spectrum.

When you're not, since you're not caught in the dynamics, it's far simpler. Like men with their male friendships. No drama, easy peasy communication.

On the other hand, people pursue people/situations because they make them happy so if I don't...then where do I fit in this?

My understanding of my own spirituality, astrology, and psychology has helped me successfully navigate my relationships.

Accept that nothing is forever.

One of the reasons for my happiness in being divorced was I wouldn't have to face his death or mine. I wanted to die alone. I'm amazed that he still wants this journey to death.

I woke up from a nightmare of him dying. In such a Virgo-like response to console me, he grabbed his tablet and went over the insurance policy and other beneficiary documents with me. I was confused and speechless. But, that's my Virgo.... I just hugged him, kissed his forehead (we don't like to kiss), and laughed.

you have to "light up his life" ..

it's corny but true.

Btw, I get what you mean by doing this OP. Relationships should be a complement to your life and if who you're with ADDS to current, healthy happiness, then yeah, they should make you even happier.

Mine says I give him headaches.. Then proceeded to smile and say Nah you make me happy.

I believe he meant it though with the headaches. Sad times lol

I'd say this is a more positive reaction tbh. If a guy is teasing you like that, he's got soft squishy feelings for you haha.

I agree... Funny thing is my ex Gem said this to me once and I said he was the Advil to mine but he meant it in a teasing and loving way. Some guys express their feelings indirectly but you can tell if they are happy being with you 🙂

Don't mind the cuntbucket. She's not worth the response, m'dear. She's 12 and still has a lot of growing up to do, that much is painfully obvious in her posts.

You get offended pretty easily huh? Others may have found value, I did not. So I voiced my opinion. Thanks
