Ladies (or gents), have you ever seen your man cry/ has your man ever cried in front of you? What was he crying about? Did you feel closer to him? Did you lose respect for him? (be honest, we all know what the cookie-cutter, pageant answer is, but I’m just interested in people being real.)

As we're both earth moons (me Virgo, he Cap), if we cry, there's a damn good reason. I carry a lot of shit inside and I rarely let it out. When I do, it gets to him. Much of the time he tries to hold it in, but sometimes he can't. And I love him even more for it.

My first longish term boyfriend, when I was 19, and he was 18, cried often about minor things, which I had a hard time with. Hopefully that didn't continue as he got older. Most other men I've dated I have either never seen cry, or rarely and only if something is so upsetting they can't hold back. I never thought badly of them for it. I only had a hard time with the one who cried too much.

Three of my male friends haven't cried since they were kids. They have all told me that they would like to be able to cry, they just can't after training themselves not to.

Only saw my ex cry when he ended our engagement. I was heartbroken but didn't lose respect for him.

We're still friends😊

If a man cry in front of me, I feel very close to him because I know how difficult it is for him to show that side of himself to me. That would make me respect him more never less.

My husband had never properly cried because earth moon. Very stable emotionally.

However he did shed a tear once when I was talking about my childhood.. It was totally unexpected as I wasn’t emotional in that moment myself but it made me feel a lot closer to him.

My boyfriend has cried 3xs in front of me, all this week...you would think he was on his period lmfao.

1st time, he saw an old pic of him and his dad whom he is estranged from. He just burried his face in my lap and cried. He said it made him rember a time before he knew what a POS his dad was. And that made him sad the lost relationship.

2nd time, his mom called him crying (family issue) and that made him cry.

3rd time his dog went to the bathroom in the house, and he was frustrated after a 13 hour work day. He just felt so bad for the dog he said "I knew he went out of desperation" and then he said "he went in the litter box" and started bawlinggg 😢 made me cry to!

Yes I feel closer, because I feel a man won't show vulnerabilities like that unless they trust you.

It makes me know our relationship is evolving and getting deeper. Sort of an honor.

Also he would kill me if he knew I shared this...oops 😳

Virgo ex 5 years ago cried because he thought he was dumb and couldn't reach nirvana (buddishm belief)

Saggitarius ex 2 years ago cried because he thought I was cheating on him. I never did I was just playing left 4 dead with random people online

Current Libra boyfriend cried because he was begging me to not leave him and give him a chance to make our relationship better

My cap shed a tear, he said it was tears of happiness. I was just talking about some crazy analogy of my feelings.

I was baffled. He basically felt how I felt even tho I didn't express it well.

That's what he can do.. He can feel the underlying emotions. I really appreciate that.

My guy is like this too.

I feel eased that he understands so deeply, even when I can't explain how I feel. He just gets it

i'd rather he not cry because that means he's not happy.

my man internalizes his pain, even when a loved one has passed away.

but he's seen me cry alot, especially with sappy love movies or even happy disney films.

because the journey of the story is so tragic and dramatic that the ending makes it so happy with tears.

i've seen him cry though.

i love everything about my man so tears joy, everything is special.

My ex bf (Scorpio) that I lived with for five years NEVER cried: watching movies, family issues, bills, dog/cat shitting in litter box or inside house, working 12 hours a day, etc, etc, etc, etc.

He CRIED like a Pussy when one of his cats was run over in the street in front of our house. I looked at him and said to myself, "You Pussy! you don't cry watching movies, over family issues, over paying bills, dog/cat shitting in litter box or inside house, or working 12 hours a day, etc, etc, etc. YOU PUSSY!"

🤗 cyber hugs!

Love,

Eva

It is so sad that we live in a society that has made an entire gender feel they should suppress their emotions. Then we complain about the impact of gross male masculinity complexes on our society.

Cry it up men, cry it up.
