I just watched a passport bro video and he said there is a stereotype that all Americans in passport bro countries are wealthy. The attraction is money. Passport baddies have an expectation that a man should elevate her social status. The same expectation that some American woman have, but they’re called gold diggers when they do.
And it's culturally acceptable, even promoted for women to do that in the west.

My sister worked in China for a modeling agency, they'd get hired out to stand beside new cars or as an ornament at a conference or something. Idk what it was about but they really like looking at white people.

I’m telling you, these are the quiet MGTOW’ers. They didn’t make a big deal about it, they just found what worked for them and didn’t draw much attention to themselves. As feminism increases, this will continue to be a more noticeable and common thing. Ultimately though, these dudes are lonely and looking to start a family I think. It’s not even a dislike I would say, more just a preference that I find it more exciting and I ultimately want to live abroad one day. I’m not totally against the idea and if single, would be open to dating someone American who I found intelligent or interesting. It also doesn’t help that when I moved to Ohio, OH MAN, the dating landscape became barren, not a target rich environment at all. Once I was realizing that my standards has devolved to things like…. having all your teeth, be gainfully employed, not be on the run from law enforcement, be of sound mind, etc. Well. Passport bro really is a tiny portion of the population though. Most American men I have encountered have a repulsion to travel, culture, experiences, fun in general. They want to go to work, come home eat dinner, and fall asleep on the recliner to some boring TV show. Sex once a week. Maybe the weekend they will vacuum the house and or go fishing, and watch some more TV. Intellectually boring and not very masculine overall. With younger generation millennials/Gen z especially, they can’t do basic household tasks. My 24 yr old zoomer coworker doesn’t know how to clean his gutters or mow the yard at his house, for example. I can do these things but prefer a man to do it, in a more traditional sense

Passport bro really is a tiny portion of the population though. Most American men I have encountered have a repulsion to travel, culture, experiences, fun in general. They want to go to work, come home eat dinner, and fall asleep on the recliner to some boring TV show. Sex once a week. Maybe the weekend they will vacuum the house and or go fishing, and watch some more TV. Intellectually boring and not very masculine overall. With younger generation millennials/Gen z especially, they can’t do basic household tasks. My 24 yr old zoomer coworker doesn’t know how to clean his gutters or mow the yard at his house, for example. I can do these things but prefer a man to do it, in a more traditional sense

I didn't say I think I'd do any better over seas, I've been over seas and done well with hookups because that's easy anyway and overseas you're having fun. But I don't want to do that to find a partner and it'd make no dam difference to who I am as a person compared to who I am here, I don't believe that women over seas are any different anywhere. Some men do, and that works for them.

If in these hard expensive times, your wife is helping you/the household by bringing in income, then you need to help her in the traditional household chores like cooking, cleaning and taking care of kids. The dude wants to be the only one with a fulfilling career -and the woman to have a less demanding career (forget her aspirations, a career that she enjoys) just so she can be available to do the “traditional roles after work hours. That is unrealistic expectation #1 that a woman will be a robot and do it all.
2. He wants a good looking woman who is smart, confident but yet she shouldn’t be mouthy and have a prosperous career. A smart woman if she’s truly smart will be well read and sophisticated and will have a good prosperous career and opinions that may differ from his and if she disagrees, these types of guys see that as mouthy, difficult and a harpy. Unrealistic #2 .
3. He made fun of a woman called her “dolled up divorcee.” That shows me he thinks that a divorced woman is “blotted” and has no right to be dolled up. They should have no desire to look good. Sounding crazy now, doesn’t he?
4. He taunts women telling them go to “freeze their eggs.” To that, you know what my teenage 16 yr nephew (who thankfully isn’t an incel and normal) said? “Is he trying to attracted women with that statement?” LOL. This thread is hilarious!! I didn’t know Passport bro was a thing. However, I did observe this quintessential Passport bro having a meltdown on his dating profile. It was sickening to read yet I was intrigued. I visit his profile weekly to read his recent breakdown/grievances with “western” women. It’s actually quite entertaining to read and I share it with my gfs and guy friend (who thankfully are normal and not incel) and they find it amusing too.Basically the Passport bro has severe contradictory and condescending views of women. Although he’s an attractive guy but financially he’s not that well off and it’s his unrealistic expectations, not the women, that has him turn into a bitter passport bro. He expects the world from a woman (she should be attractive, not materialistic and ask me to buy her name brand purses but I want her to work to help me out with finances, have my kids, be loyal to me, she should be smart but not talk back to me, she should know when to be extroverted and when to be a homebody, family oriented, work life balance (so she can do all the heavy lifting after work while I just have to work), possess humility, kind (which is just another word for doormat and take my shit), isn’t a social narcissist (because insecure and can’t have my attractive wife that I want to be looked at) etc. Gloats about not having social media himself but the way this loser updates his profile, he was better off having social media himself. He was recently making fun of divorcees which told me that thinks divorced women are blotted.
His profile his lengthy, uppity and basically he thinks he deserves it all in a woman. He announced recently that he’s booked a one way ticket to south east Asia on his dating profile recently and referred to western society as “degenerate.” I was baffled why he was announcing that on a dating profile. But mystery solved. He’s a Passport bro.

So let me correct you:
1. If in these hard expensive times, your wife is helping you/the household by bringing in income, then you need to help her in the traditional household chores like cooking, cleaning and taking care of kids. The dude wants to be the only one with a fulfilling career -and the woman to have a less demanding career (forget her aspirations, a career that she enjoys) just so she can be available to do the “traditional roles after work hours. That is unrealistic expectation #1 that a woman will be a robot and do it all.
2. He wants a good looking woman who is smart, confident but yet she shouldn’t be mouthy and have a prosperous career. A smart woman if she’s truly smart will be well read and sophisticated and will have a good prosperous career and opinions that may differ from his and if she disagrees, these types of guys see that as mouthy, difficult and a harpy. Unrealistic #2 .
3. He made fun of a woman called her “dolled up divorcee.” That shows me he thinks that a divorced woman is “blotted” and has no right to be dolled up. They should have no desire to look good. Sounding crazy now, doesn’t he?
4. He taunts women telling them go to “freeze their eggs.” To that, you know what my teenage 16 yr nephew (who thankfully isn’t an incel and normal) said? “Is he trying to attracted women with that statement?” LOL. Even a kid has better sense on how to attract a woman. He’s described himself as “empathetic, nice, and kind” on his profile. You think with all these uppity rude statements he’s anything remotely nice?
5. He wants an attractive woman to basically trade an amazing career for a less demanding one so she can take care of kids , house chores and she shouldn’t be materialistic because he’s not only cheap but not financially capable of giving her gifts. Unrealistic again. An attractive woman will have suitors and some of them will spoil her with gifts. She’s obviously going to pick the rich spoiling suitor than this beggar who is obviously cheap and doesn’t want to buy a woman things. He thinks a woman wanting name brand is materialistic.

What I find distasteful about passport bros is the fact that they are traveling to obtain cheap and often illegal sex.
These sex workers are often underage, trafficked and working to support families and their children in impoverished conditions and these men quite literally don’t have any issue with any of the above factors as long as they believe they didn’t do anything wrong because they paid the woman.
But the reality is, this industry of sex tourism isn’t just about women providing paid sex work for men and then the man leaves. These men rent women for multiple days, weeks and often abuse them and manipulate them and degrade them brutally. Their children are often left without parental support during that time and they are vulnerable. Not to mention there is a market that’s just large and growing where these workers are now selling their children and trafficking their own kids and family to obtain more money.
That’s the underbelly of the industry. So by dabbling in this, even if you don’t participate in anything unlawful…you’re aiding an industry that violates the rights of women and children.
Morally and ethically it’s vile and evil to the core.

A lot of people (irrespective of gender) think they are empathetic/compassionate but when you hear their real thoughts when they’re angry, you realize they are the further thing from that. Empathetic and compassionate people don’t dehumanize another person.
As long as both parties agree to the relationship and treat each other with the proper respect they deserve, I don’t see what the bfd is with someone going to another country to find what their heart desires. It’s weird that some people care so much how others live their lives, go focus on and live yours instead.
