I can say that it did free me up a bit in my mind and I focused more on myself during that period and I have started to find who I am again.

Far from. I find a sexually focused life to be boring, but to each their own. Sex becomes boring to me when it’s lackluster. And that’s what it always seemed to be for me before the actual groundwork was laid. I just crave so much more than just the physical. Best sex I ever had was being in love and making love, everything else just isn’t the same for me like not at all on the same level. I find that physicality is empty for me without more, I’m a spiritual being and I need a deeper connection to truly enjoy it myself. There’s so much more in life and in love to me.

Feeling sexually dependent on someone made me feel powerless and distracted me too much. I feel freer now.

As in with drugs, booze etc.....using it to feel better about myself. I've worked on not having to reach outside of myself to make me feel whole. I changed a pattern which wasn't healthy. I realised after seeing a father that was dependent on medication, that I may have have inherited his addictive personality, so i fixed it 💚

He's a Scorpio, I don't think I'd be able to get away with not kissing him. 🙂
I did it for several years and had to isolate myself severely during that time to stay away from one ex in particular....I think the sexual aspect was the easiest at first, though there were periods I think I had an unhealthy relationship with porn. The worst part for me was honestly this really strong yearning I felt to have a warm body next to me in bed...so basically cuddling lol....
I think, as much as it can be a healthy thing for some depending on circumstances, it can also push you into some very unhealthy behaviors or states of mind if you isolate yourself socially like I did. I became hypersensitive to anything sexual after a while. At one point, I remember talking to an ex over the phone, which was one of the most terrible relationships I've ever been in, and she tried to spark up some sexy talk with me and I felt like I had almost no self control - like she could literally mind-control me via my genitals if I kept that convo going. It was a really strange experience, felt like pure euphoria actually, and I'm just thankful I was living far away from her at the time bc if not, I would've def made a bad decision. I took a cold shower afterwards and had all sorts of crazy dreams and heavy/intrusive fantasies about our former sex life for months after.

It can be, but I think a large part of that depends on how you view it in the first place, the extent you use it, whether or not it interferes w/real responsibilities, etc. I think there are some healthy constructive uses though, and ways its added value to my relationships. At times I've even used it as a type of therapy for obsessive thoughts around a person that I know would be disastrous to pursue. I just find an actress that looks like them and fap them out of my head lol....

I don’t even like having sex. I was suddenly bored out of my mind and couldn’t wait to do something else. So I stopped midway and never came back to it

The sight or even thought of a penis anywhere near me makes me want to blow chunks
It’s been almost 6 months free from any type of sexual entanglement
Freedom not having to have to care above making an impression on men romantically and sexually
Sex was no longer an enjoyable act
It’s boring really when you think about it
It’s lame with just some random dick
Even with someone who isn’t random.
Sex is pretty boring and uninspiring.
I think it’s the fact that it’s so forbidden for some that makes it appear like the best thing on earth. Scarcity.
Purely a mechanism to bring life into the world.

I'm single, so I am celibate. I don't believe in "casual" sex. Pretty sure I am demisexual.
