Understanding Aries Experiences with Cancer Men

Many Aries individuals find Cancer men to be emotional, sensitive, and sometimes temperamental. They often seek validation and may have passive-aggressive tendencies. Handling them involves patience, clear communication, and setting boundaries to avoid being overwhelmed by their neediness or mood swings.

I have very weird experiences with Cancer men. To me, it feels like they less want to understand the world, and would prefer to have the world go out of its way to understand them. Yesterday I went out to eat with an artist friend who is a Cancer, and he was really temperamental. He makes his living off his art and supports his two children with it, and he was asking me what I thought about one of his pieces, and I didn't praise it. I was just blunt and told him I wasn't a big fan. The rest of the day he went on telling me stories about how people will recognize him when he goes on the streets, how people praise his work, how someone paid $ 5,000 for one of his pieces and thanked him for letting them buy one of his pieces. He made sure to let me know several times that the piece I didn't like sold while he wasn't even done (good for him, that doesn't affect my taste for it.) He also seemed really stressed the whole time and gave me this whole, "I don't need you, you should feel lucky for knowing me," attitude, even though he needs my help with some artist grant application because he can't write or use technology for the life of him.

I still care a lot about the guy and his family, but his passive aggression and temperamental attitude for a 45-year-old father of two seemed really unprofessional. Feeling more and more like he is toxic, especially as he expects me to help him out with anything he can't do for himself. He is a hard worker, but needy.

Also, my father is a Cancer, so I have a lot of experience with Cancers. I love my father, he has a big heart for those he loves and trusts, but it can me difficult for someone as independent as I am to get the *strong* father figure image out of him that I always desired growing up.

Most of the ones I've known are too needy for my liking.. They take everything to heart.. I understand if you're a little needy , I can deal with that as long as I'm really into u as a friend or romantic partner but c'mon now , the blubbering was too much

Hmm.. I've always known Cancer guys as classmates/neighbors, the ones I knew were the funny, studious types.. but they always gave off *strong* vibes for me, you know, the types who are sensitive but are practical, know how to handle everything - dependable types..

Maybe I find them a little different because of my cancer rising..

My step-dad is a Cancer. Love him to bits. We get along really well. He's supportive, and motivating, usually ver calm and patient. He does get moody and butt-hurt sometimes, and I don't think he understands my silly nature.
