Mars baffles me to some extent.
I have the "passive aggressive" mars. Yet I feel that when I do get angry, I really am not afraid to show it and show it I will. Having said that, there are various degrees to my anger of course. But it's when it's explosive that it can even scare myself. I really do understand the term crimes of passion.click to expand

Deeply rooted opinions, which she knows how to defend energetically. At a certain moment of life, she can fight for a particular ideal but might abandon it along the way, being less convinced than at the beginning of its virtue or because she realizes that it is a losing battle. Conflict abroad or with foreigners.
Mars and Saturn are malefic planets.

Is Mars how we express anger? Or how we express ourselves sexually? ...

Posted by LuckyLibra979I think you are in a good state of mind - you think before you act even though things set you off (normal to me); you realize that you are still working toward better boundaries which will help balance; and you do inner work in looking at your behavior. I like that. I guess because I've been doing the same thing for a very long time and I know it works best that way and wonder why others are not that way as well. I too, felt for years like I had to be/was in total defensive mode. That changed in one day - although there had been an accumulation of good reasons I believe that happened. After that I was calmer, stronger, and better after that. Less stressful. I just wanted to say god speed on your journey because I know you are on your way ...
Libra mars in the 1st house. I think before I act but with mars in the 1st there is always a need to act out. Its principle. I have no problem walking up to a pretty girl and asking her for her number. I have no problem telling someone they have overstepped their boundaries. I try to present myself in a social manner but in reality im very ruggish and slightly vulgar. I can be hot headed and have been told I take things personal but I think without boundaries one sets them self up for multiple problems.
I have this inner belief that I must always be prepared for some kind of battle. I feel like at any time something can pop off and ill need to defend myself. So I pour most of my energy into boxing and weight lifting. I think that's another thing about mars its where we put our energy into. Even the mine is in mars im very ambitious and very goal oriented and have not one issue putting my foot down n myself first

Posted by bricklemarkAre you saying that because my Mars is in the second house, its only function is how I provide for myself financially? What about my attitude towards possessions? What I consider MINE even if it's another person? Or something about myself? What then? If someone tries to take something that belongs to me or that I consider mine, then I feel sorry for that person because they're in for a war.
Mars in 2nd is about how you work hard to make money and buy yourself all kinds of shit....

Posted by P6X58DEThat's excellent and very appropriate. I don't think you can EVER "teach" a Taurus sun child not to be possessive, though. It just goes with the territory. Any effort in that direction will be frustrated. It may be best to offer more attractive options. However, this was Mars in the 2nd. Right? Combined with a Taurus sun this person is one angry mutha if anyone touches their stuff. IMHO. I know, because that's moi.Posted by SeasonMars in the 2nd HousePosted by bricklemarkAre you saying that because my Mars is in the second house, its only function is how I provide for myself financially? That's the Aldebaran part no doubt. great placement for military strategists.
You are likely to be a hard worker, although you appreciate the process and might be slower than some as you focus on the method and tend to each step deliberately and carefully. You love to produce things of practical value. You are ambitious when it comes to making money and acquiring possessions, but you might be impatient or impulsive when it comes to spending. You can be quite possessive, both of material things and of people. You like a physical challenge, and your physical abilities and energy make up a strong part of your sense of self-worth. You like to work independently, or you value things most when you have achieved something on your own. The world of the five senses is most important to you on sensual and sexual levels. You have a hearty appetite with strong stamina. You defend your values fervently.
Sample from the KidZone report: This child with Mars in the second house will be of the slow and steady variety. He/she will not like to be rushed. However, the attention span will be good and this child will plod through and produce good, solid results.
This child will be very interested in amassing as much as possible. When these children see something that they want, they will want it very much. And they will work hard to get it. He/she will probably be great at saving pocket money, and will then buy their goodies independently. This child may insist on having complete control over their spending power. They need to be taught early on to reject a sudden impulse to just go and get whatever it is that they want. The “solid and steady” tag does not apply to acquiring assets. It should be suggested that this child think things through, and to decide whether they truly do want something. Any interference will be met with disdain, because he/she will have very set views. But because of the compulsive nature of Mars, these kids are quite likely to be careless with money. This impulsiveness to “own” can become a big problem. This child will have a very strong sense of ownership and anyone who challenges this will stir up a real anger. This is a lesson better learned while young.
These children may not be absolutely selfish, but they will want to share only on their own terms, not because they have to. If a brother or sister takes something without asking, this youngster will really blow up. And there will be real fireworks if someone damages something of theirs. He/she may be careless, but no one else can be! This will particularly apply to personal belongings. Help this child to learn to be less possessive. A possessive attitude can cause toys and belongings to bring more pain than pleasure, keeping him/her from fully enjoying them.

Posted by LunabeeYes, it would also be a good indicator of how a person handles competition, like sports. Good point.
I see Mars as being the planet of action. How you pursue what you want.... In the saddle, in competitive sports, in expressing anger... Etc.
I have Aries mars 9th house, conjunct my MC. I get straight to the point in most matters.

What is your view of Mars and it's placement in your chart and how it effects you?
I have an Aldebaran Mars in the 2nd house and I don't have a clue. I know people see me as more fun than I believe myself to be. This isn't always a good thing. It's not how I get angry, nor is it really how I feel sexually about someone. It's more like the mask people see, which is not my reality.
Anyone?
