It feels impossible. I am trying tho. I be wanting to reach out to him so bad. I’m trying to put my focus and energy into other ppl to help me. Because if he’s telling me he’s moving on I want to respect that. But I’m missing him in the process.

Over time people tend to see the past through rose-tinted glasses. I think you should think about why he left, what he told you prior to disappearing, his behavior and how you behaved during the relationship.

Did he tell you he wanted to be friends? This is the way most cancers act, they pull back and expect you to chase and prove that you want them. It's like a test.
