im so happy for my sisters. One of them is going on a year long sabbatical vacation with her man. The other with her husband bought a house!!! They got some help from both parents (our parents help out with babysitting the children which helps them hundreds or Thousand a month in childcare) and i didnt realize my other sister and her man have been saving lots of money for this year long sabbatical (they already own a house together way before their baby arrived years ago)

the critters are all over the place.

falcons fly over our house regularly and i've been seeing more of our fox as well with all the food running around.

it's turning into a jungle.

we're out numbered.

that fox and those raptors better get to work. we're transplanting our veggie garden soon.

i admit that was partly the half bottle of wine talking, but in vino veritas!

i've already had a talk with the bf and we're both going to put our foot down on a few matters.

i can definitely compromise on the interior decor. it is my house and now theirs too. i'd say a majority of the place is styled to my taste anyways. but the futons sprawled all over the property? lol are you effin kidding me? when they suggested it, i think i was so stunned that i was guffaw silenced. i feel like i'm dealing with a couple kids now.

i keep thinking of how fortunate i was in the past either living solo or having one immaculately clean roommate with a very neutral/traditional sense of home decor. my bf is actually a pretty clean and respectful guy... typical love of darker, romantic colors... espresso, burgundy, black. the girl (virgo) is pretty clean, but cluttery and whimsical/erratic style. a lot of thrifty things. none of it really matches. her bf, my bf's bff (pisces), is a pretty earthy guy. claims he's into feng shui, but when he decorates a room, half the space gets eaten up with the way he positions things. —? maybe that's what feng shui is all about. *shrugs*

i'm not saying i know what i'm doing when it comes to decorating, but i'm a less is more type. keep it clean, sensibly organized, everything put away in it's place, in pleasant complimentary colors that follow some sort of a scheme ... good enough for me!

it just feels like i've regressed back into college dorm room days.

the bf and i talk often enough about starting a family in a few years. i'm thinking we need to talk about a more private and autonomous living situation first.

everyone is really attached to the house we're in now. both our families say they want to buy it if it's up for grabs. it is a pretty dreamy mountain house, but i can give it up to move forward in life. if the hippies want it... let 'em fuck it up. let's go build our own.

i have to beat them to the airways with my coltrane/ellington, classical romantic piano and oldies whenever i can... through my smooth surround sound system. i listen to loud electronic music too, but my mars aqua feels so much better with that lobby music.

Ive been eating healthier and feeling great these past few days. Lots of kale salad with avocado, and cabbage soup. I slipped up yesterday and ate a soft pretzel. Now I feel horrible and Im pretty sure its because of that darn bread.

Its like the way i feel is completely dependant on food. Im realizing i only feel good from fruits and vegetables.

My Cap friend just came by to visit and he is so silly. I always blow him off and tell him he can't come see me, but everytime he does Im glad he came.

We walked to the nearest Starbucks to get some coffee. Now my neighborhood can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, so he decided he wants to carry his gun....in my purse. I told him that he can, but I wasn't going to hold my purse if he does, so he carried my purse all the way to Starbucks and back. People were looking at him, but he didn't care. He was dressed in a buttoned down shirt, slacks, dress shoes, and a purse...walking down the street lol.

I have so much fun with him sometimes, a real looney.

Welp, I just found my motivation.

A Cappy I went to school with, who graduated a year before me is on this list. She was the valedictorian, if I'm not mistaken, in her graduating class. We all knew she would do well because she was so smart in school, but it's just good to see. 32yrs old and a Urgent Care Physician, and she did it in 8yrs without missing a beat. I always wanted to do medical research, but I'm just sooooo lazy. Maybe this will inspire me.

My Cap grandma brings me to tears everytime. I asked my dad for help with something, and he couldnt do it at the moment, so she called today and said she will. It just brings me to tears because she is always there, and I honestly should be in a better position helping her.I guess I should see it more positively, because I gift her every single time I can. Just emotional. Wishing I was in a better position at the moment.

My dad, who is a Cap too, will pull through for me too...just because I never ask. With my grandma, I never have to ask. So sweet.

SO I'm at the library.
Here you can reserve a computer for an hour (and get extensions for up to 3 hours max).
Then their are express computers. You get 15 minutes max at them. Normally you use them to check emails or do quick stuff.

These two young girls were using one right in front of the computer I was one at the lab.
They were smiling and laughing a lot. Figured it was nothing till I kept catching them looking at me. Again, at first, I just brushed it off.
Till I noticed they were still were there and an hour had passed. SO it's pretty clear that they were watching me.
Eventually I just waved at them, they laughed and waved back and then after a couple of more peeks left.

...just wow.

I sent my cousin a text that said "No man, really" etc. And then she got upset that I called her 'man' and said I'm not the person she thought I was. She then texted my mother who called me who told me I upset her and who then proceeded to tell me that I am stupid for trying to move out and get an apartment right now.

Add that to the list of reasons why I AM currently looking to move out.

This was a bad start to my day.
