Rum.

I like to enjoy a glass every night. It makes me feel good, happy, mellow, or extra open to emotions. Mostly in a positive or touching way, complete opposite from how I am sober. Sober I hardly care about anything.
Yeah some good old christian brothers frost, splash of sprite... Good times. Man, it's been a while since I've had some rum. Hmmmm

Oh trust me, that freak knows all about sinning - so wasn't Gin that caused that sin. Rick James made a song Superfreak - about "him"/it.

Whiskey (Jameson or Old No 7 ) on the rocks, just for sippin'
I prefer crown royal but a good ole oroah coffee is fine by me. †
Irish coffee

Jameson is in an irish breakfast shot too, right? That's good stuff.
Yup Jameson is irish..

Glenlivet with a splash or McCallan or Balvenie makes me mellow as hello.

Jameson shots when toasting absent friends.

Basil Haden bourbon, just one when I'm not going to "drink-drink."

Tequila - shots and/or margaritas for intentionally getting drunk, dancing, and making out.

Vodka never.
THE Balvenie #1 The Glenlivet #2 for me by far my favorite two. Have you tried Glenmorangie? I hear great reviews but it was horrible to me.

Yes!! I have tried it and hated it. Too peaty - if that's a word. Too earthy or something. I prefer a very smoked or oaky taste.

Tried Laphroaig last weekend and ugh... not a fan of that either.

Surprising, Johnny Walker Blue is very smooth for a blend - everyone screams over the Black but I really find the Blue much easier on the palette.

Always funny to me how a woman ordering scotch in a bar turns mens' heads.

So true!!! Many times I've ordered scotch at the bar and the looks on their faces are hilarious. † Has started a many of conversations as well.
We seem to have the similar tastes in scotch. I'm going to have to try the johnny walker blue and black see what I think. A blend is a tough sale for me usually. I'll keep you posted.

I like to play footsy with my jim beam. Gin if Jim Beam disappears. Cognac if for chocolate. And oh, rumchata for special occasions. Silver tequila for birthdays.
Im usually not a fan of the dairy spirits, however, rumchata just sounded interesting. So... Picked up one, tasted it gross. I'm not one to waste my drinks or money. So I said, self. Self said huh. Try it in your coffee this morning. Wonderful!!!

So now I'm like ill add some to my cakes, cookies, ice cream, in the futire yay!!! †††

GOOD MORNING!

Jamaican Rum 40% or 80%

next choice Bourbon or Jameson
Sometimes I'll get in the mood for a bourbon. Neat. Makers or Four Roses preferred.

Gin's probably my favorite for cocktails. Especially in the summer. Brandy for winter.

Powers used to be my go to whiskey, but then they had to go and cock it up. Jamo for Irish coffees only.

Go to shots are Cazadores, Fernet, Malört or ginger brandy. We play bar dice here so you need to have a range since stock will depend on the establishment.

Ha. But all in all, I'm a beer girl.
wow you're a 360 degree full circle when it comes to drinks I wish I can be like that if I'm not drinking Run it's only Bourbon or very light whiskeys, all the other drinks make me feel sick

usually I just stick to something and never EVER drink brandy, grandpa lost both his kidneys

Didn't figure a nice wine with dinner was worth mentioning and forgot to add that I'm a happy drunk.

360 drinker? Maybe. There's a huge drinking culture here. Not only is it Brew City from waaaay back, but there's an impressive microbrew/hand distilled movement. Plus I have a ton of bartender friends and have spent my own fair share behind the pine. Gotta know the product.

Sorry about your gramps. The downside of living here is seeing first hand, on a large scale, what alcoholism does to people. We have to have bartending licenses here and the biggest part of that, other than the revenue it brings in, is the mandatory sensitivity training. aka: learning how and when to cut people off.

Beer just makes me louder.

Whiskey makes me horny - I don't enjoy whiskey, because it gets my already flirty personality into trouble, ha!

Vodka - I start out cool and somehow turn into a pretty confrontational drunk if I drink only vodka...I blame Aries mars, lol.

White rum - my summer drink of choice, 50/50 toss up of me ending up a puddle on the floor after this though.

I like to stick to my cheap-ass beer at this point in my life (hello broke life ha! 🙂)

Happy Birthday Pisco!! omg Happy Birthday!!! Don't tell anyone!

Good man. I took a friend out to a scotch bar last weekend. I got her a Bunnahabhain and I got a Lagauvulin for myself. Scotch and a quality cigar, preferably Cuban. Just lovely.

I like whiskey and not big on vodka. Tequila can be dangerous so I try to steer clear of it and I should never...EVER...drink gin.

Not to big on vodka myself, either, but tequila has always treated me well no matter how much. I don't know why but it's always gone down well.

I just came back from drinking tequila. It hits me hard if I haven't eaten (because shots), but I'm good if it's only 2-3 shots. Beyond that I need to have food in my stomach. That being said, it goes down smooth for me usually.

So curious which is your drink of choice / how does it effect you?

Scotch - im mello
Whiskey - I'm extra sassy
Only time I drink vodka is for a dirty martini - sleep in like 30 min

I dont drink the others.
Booze? Screwdriver, Harvey Wallbanger (LUCKY if I find a good bartender that can still make these!), mimosas, shot of Butter Nipple AND jello shot (sex on the beach), frozen Margarita -- top self, NO salt, splash of orange juice, with Petron To-kill-ya 🍹

Beer? Bottled Miller Lite (like my Taurus man), draft Blue Moon (it kicks my ass!), at festivals Shiner Bock Blond, or if all fails I will drink Coors Light. Cheers!

🤗 cyber hugs!

Love,

Eva
