Traits You Look for In a Mate?
i give respect for people who don't judge. I look for that in a partner. Also someone who is intelligent not someone who talks out their ass. I really like traditional relationships.
Non Physical:
- Sense of humor is a must, I joke around a lot and have a wide sense of humor
- Confidence but not cocky
- Loves food (big turn off to see a man who doesn't eat much, plus I love food)
- Good with money, not a must... but at least be sensible and not throw away your dollars at the bar every weekend
- Has goals
- Preferably into sports, or some sort of fitness
- Mature (I normally date men a few years older for this reason)
Physical:
- Dark hair
- Tan/brown skin
- Brown eyes
- At least my height or taller
- body; as long as they are not skinnier or weaker than me we are good to go

Really I'm looking for someone chill like myself. Someone who isn't in a big hurry and willing to take their time to develop actual trust and respect in the right kind of ways. Someone that can become by best friend first, then we fall madly in love. At that point the bond will be strong enough for me to feel satisfied. Imo someone that wants to take it slow is a sign of maturity, and a huge turn on to me.

I have a Leo moon and Venus, with Libra mercury.
Physically speaking, I dont really have a type. My family and friends are very diverse racially and culturally, so that affects my dating life. I've dated more women in my race, but I don't really take it into account. Beyond that my physical preference tends towards women with large soft eyes (hazel to dark brown), and generally soft faces (think Gemini traits). In fact eyes can kill me. I also tend toward fit or curvy women. Height doesn't really matter to me as I've date women who were both taller and shorter than me. Women who are comfortable in their femininity, with a hint of tomboy generally appeal to me.
There are far more non physical traits that I look into though. Any woman I'm interested must be witty and have a good sense of humor. Unlike here on the forums I'm generally the jokester, so a woman who can make me laugh gets a lot of points. A woman who is into some type of fitness and likes food is a plus (I'm a foodie who cooks often). If she cooks too, even better. Any ounce of nerd will set her apart as well (comics, astronomy, video games, biology, etc). Most importantly, she needs to be a good conversationalist (hence why I generally go for women with air placements). I can be a chatterbox and will jump from topics on politics, to art, to time travel, to religion, to women's rights in a heartbeat. So really I need a woman who can keep up with my mind. Silent women kinda freak me out...
I also can't stand emotional immaturity or drama, so I tend to date women who are close to my age or older. I don't discount younger women, but will generally only date a women who is 2-3 years younger/older than me at most. This could change as I get older obviously.
