LOL! I know, I have 76 on my profile. No problem bubba... I have had my share of experience with Libra guys. I genuinely like them, something about them that keeps me interested. There is this connection on so many levels. Kind of weird coming from a scorp huh? They can be the best friends ever too.

Some days, I think I know them and some days I don't ***sigh***

HP, yeah a sucky Libra love day for me too. 😢

HP get in touch with Alcheme, there is some pretty big and wierd astrological events happening on top of each other and they aren't so fun. One of them is a Venus retrograde which both of you are probably ruled by, by and large so things dealing with love are going to get a little shakey. Not just on the relationship aspect but on a personal level. there are several other retrogrades comming up too. I am being hit by all of them but I know whats going on so it makes it a lot easier to deal with.

***I absolutely cannot stand hypocracy and if you say something to me, you damn sure make sure it's consistent to what you tell others.***

As long as you think there is a better way to handle things than what your libra have been doing, you will only make things worse. Whatever he does will have its own reason and you probably wont understand it even if he care to explain everything. Better trust his judgment than your own thoughts.

Nic is correct. On starting in the beginning of July to July 27th, Venus began "slowing down" in preparation for its retrograde station on July 27th, from that period to Sept 8th it will appear to be moving backward from the persepctive of Earth (retrograde). Then, it will direct station (stations mean that a planet appears to stand still) and begin moving forward. A retrograde period is generally from the point it turned backward until it moves forward back to the same point, but the slow down periods (before and after) still have an effect and are called shadow periods.

During a retrograde, the issues involving the planet go wonky. Mostly on a personal level, things become internalized and introspective and retrograde periods are periods meant to reflect and learn about yourself from. But, on an external level, concepts of craziness involving the planets ruling issues tend to reign. For example, considering we are talking about a Venus retrograde, they suggest not getting your hair majorly changed or doing any shopping as the vast majority of people's aesthetic sense will be hindered. Most everyone will be affected by the Venus retrograde (though, I have read those will natal retrograde planets will actually do a bit better when the same planet transits to retrograde), but some will be affected more than others. Those with natal planets in the degrees between 16 degrees Leo and 4 degrees Virgo will be significantly effected, as will most Libras and Tauruses, as that is your sun sign's ruler.

For general information about this specific Venus retrograde, these are two good articles:
http://www.astrologycom.com/venusret.html<BR> http://www.astrologycom.com/sleepingbeauty.html<BR>
To find out how / where it will specifically effect you, find out your planets it will transit over (any between 16 degrees Leo to 4 degrees Virgo, if any) and what house it will be in for you (which would apply for everyone even if it will not transit of oneof your planets). Then look up the information you found in this link (houses are listed first, then planets):
http://www.cafeastrology.com/transits_venusretrograde.html<BR>
The "retrograde station" interpretations will apply for the period it is moving backwards, and the "direct station" interpretations will apply once it moves forward again. Also, disregard the fact that article is for a 2005 retrograde and jump right to the interpretations, they would apply no matter the details of the exact retrograde.

Beyond the Venus retrograde (from approximately July 27 - Oct 11, shadow period starting at the beginning of July):
- Venus's retrograde will cause it to conjunct with Saturn three times. Saturn is generally being considered the most malefic planet, though not quite so. It is just the planet of learning things the hard way, if you aren't willing to learn them the easy way.
- Saturn changes signs into Virgo Sept 8 (this happens once every two years).
- Mercury will retrograde in Scorpio (9 degrees Scorpio to 23 degrees Libra) Oct 11 - Nov 1, shadow period starting Sept 22 and extending to Nov 17.
- Mars will retrograde in Cancer (12 degrees Cancer to 24 degrees Gemini) Nov 15 - Apr 4 2008. I don't know the shadow period for this transit. Article: http://www.astrologycom.com/marsret.html<BR> - Saturn will retrograde in Virgo (8 degrees Virgo to 1 degree Virgo) Dec 19 - May 3 2008.

The most significant retrograde periods are generally Mercury (3 times a year), Venus (every 18 months), and Mars (every 2 years). I listed Saturn just because of its malefic nature and the fact that it is connecting with Venus's retrograde so many times, whose on retrograde covered some of those same degrees.

Also, if you have any planets that will be affected by the Venus retrograde, you may want to check them out on this page as well, as Saturn wil more than likely be transiting over them as well in the upcoming months.
