After leaving the store and loading your car, do you return your shopping cart to the cart corral or to the store if their isn't a corral?
If not, why are you a shit human being?

return for reuse and there will always be shit people
those are the same people who went through the drive through at Burger King and then parked out in the far lot and when they were done, they opened their door and just dumped the trash in the parking lot - we walked over, picked it up and then put it in the barrel at the door - they looked at us like we had 3 heads

I will return it if there is a spot in the parking lot but if there isn't I will atleast try to put it where it won't roll away or hit another car or block a parking spot. I won't return it to the store unless I have one or 2 bags that I can carry so I put the cart back. There are times when an employee is around collecting carts so I'll bring it to them.
Honestly, I think the guys who go get the carts enjoy getting out of the store so might as well let them have something to do.

Never
They have people hired to pick up after the customers

i think the same way. don't wanna take away someone's job. for some people that's their actual job, like people who press elevator buttons or give out toiletries in public toilets. i imagine it might feel kinda demeaning for the worker when a customer casually does something they're not paid to do (when you're being paid to do it). it's like bagging your own groceries, one might assume the worker's not doing it fast enough for you or as efficiently as you want. sometimes, you just have to let people do their job.
The way I see it, that's their job, not mine. I don't work part-time for Asda or Lidl. It's like those waiters relying on your tips for survival. If you don't like your current job, try to change it.click to expand

i think giving tips to workers like those who put away carts
might be better than trying to do their job for them
feels more respectful imo
LOL, why tip the people who put away carts? It's not a service rendered to you, but part of their job profile. It's a service done on behalf of the store. Why do they charge customers to use a goddamn cart?click to expand
