Is $20 too much for a haircut?

Kinda expensive... but if you really like it, go for it. My budget strategy is not to be too worried with money but just avoid spending money on things I don't even care about.

Well, I'm not used to spending that much on a haircut.

The last time I got a haircut it was $ 7. Plus a $ 3 tip. So $ 10 in all and it turned out really well.

Where do you live? I can't get a haircut for under $ 60 unless it's one of those McHair places.

North Texas.

You should download Groupon! I found a bunch of good deals on there.

I went ziplining once with my friends and with groupon we cut the price down from $ 124 to $ 86.

What do you think? I just downloaded Groupon and I'm looking for a good deal to get my haircut. The last time I got one was new years Sunday.

That a good deal if you're a woman. I get mine cut for 90

youtube tutorial to cut your own hair.

if you have thick hair. just do it on your own. save the money

I've tried doing my own layers that way.

It was too uneven and my layers were everywhere.

Plus it's been forever since I did my own bangs and the bangs are important.

People ask me where i get my layers done and i never go to the hairdressers...i think if you have a lot of hair it is less likely to feck it up. Mine falls to my waist now

The longer mine gets, the easier it is. Mine is just about boob length now.

I also bought shears made for the purpose, and I watch my stylists and do what they do. I leave the back line alone, since I know I can't cut it without gapping it up.

Do you do the bending head forward and twisting thing?

Lol

Yep! But I just barely snip off split ends, since I don't want to screw up the back line. I comb my hair into segments, pull the back segments forward, and cut them on a bias.

Yes, I do that too

Usually 8€-10€ including hair washing.

I have never payed more than 15€, I just refuse to pay that much because I have my hair cut like every 1 or 2 months.

I don't know....usually

$ 20 and less:

+ $ 20:

type of cut, length of hair, texture, curl pattern (if present) all influence the price. If a salon says it doesn't keep it movin'.

?!

I wanna go to where you went to.

Then again....my hair is to my belly button, and in layers~. I only trust myself to cut it.

I am specific.

I might trust someone else to cut it but....only when I want to >.> let's just say I'll also research the place. I saw this show about hair....it was so good..

pls.

ik leo hair is a stereotype but ;-;

i'm sure everyone wants hair they like

Actually nvm if they are shitty at cutting hair you're better off with a youtube tutorial. At least you can only be mad at yourself xD

I recommend to wait in the chairs and just...observe the finished clients first >>

oh and make sure the stylist LISTENS to you.

😡

But hair you love is worth spending on.

Meh. Some people can get a $ 50 haircut and still look terrible. You should seek to find someone who will actually listen to you instead of being scissor happy. The more expensive I went I felt meant they had to feel like they had to do more to my hair.. and it'd always end up shorter than I liked.

I've always want to cut my own hair but I'm trying to grow it past my butt and it has too many layers and unknown things going on. So I just get it professionally trimmed at some local place and that's it.

I don't even want to say what I pay

It's bad though and my hair really always looks the fuckin same too - what a shame

I thought I'd drop by my new local.

Ended up paying 75 bucks? what's that like 50+ usd?

man...

I'm going to that salon where they chop hair with a samurai sword if I ever want to pay that much again.

My ex use to do half day things where it costed her 200 bucks.....

You paid that much didn't you bri... DIDNT YOU
