What countries immediately signal to you that their products are of good quality?

Posted by WolfInRamsClothingwhy?
Italy

Posted by HearttofTopazIs this really true? I mean, I always buy products from France. They're really of good quality.
France

Posted by GemitatiHuh? I don't get it.
If you sick of your animals or want to punish your children - China!

Posted by firebunnyEvery crap saves its purpose. Like sick of your dog - god food from China would be GOOD for it!Posted by GemitatiHuh? I don't get it.

Posted by tizianiOkay then...
depends what product.

Posted by BlackburnYes. Otherwise, why would the product label says "Made in xxxx", right?
Interesting.

Posted by OneKnightWhat do you mean by the last part?
Japan, Germany, Poland, Italy, USA
Made in France - read Taiwan.

Posted by OneKnightNope. Philippines.Posted by firebunnyYou in US?
I bought this fresh milk

Posted by tizianiOne of your parents is from Trinidad?Posted by firebunnyfor mePosted by tizianiOkay then...
depends what product.
food
bags
cars
clothes
wine
soda
beer
vodka
rhum
food - when it comes to basic food, Italy. Food that takes effort to make, France.
bags - I have no idea. I order online.
cars - Germany or Japan/South Korea never let me down.
clothes - no idea. I order online or I go to outlets in Italy. But going with "Made In Italy" you're getting ripped off. They have the right style just not the right prices.
wine - truly no idea. I barely drink. I'll take anything that's offered.
soda - the best soda is Red Solo from Trinidad, bar none.
beer - Trinidad again.
vodka - I don't know much about vodka. Only ever enjoyed Russian Standard after it's frozen for hours.
Rum - not really allowed to say this allowed being half-Trini but I'm not a rum person in any way.

So how can it be fresh and French? It has to fly/swim there.
Milking you would be fresh.

Some countries, when exporting products, hide behind the italian brand because it has a better image abroad, they assure sales that way harming their own country in the long run.click to expand

I'm afraid you are biased there. I don't think France does it, they have a strong presence abroad. I can't assure it, though. *everything depends on the product category*

For example: olive oil - Tunisia, Spain, Greece and more I don't know, I've just read about Parmesan made in New Zealand, so go figure. Their products can be better but hiding they devalue them, and can also harm italian image.click to expand

Posted by firebunnyAustralia/Poland/England has very good reputation for beef, Spain for pork, France for duck, Scotland for lamb. England/ Norway for chicken if you buy organic.Posted by pisceswoman123How about meat?Posted by firebunnyFor wine in my book is Spain, France and Italy.

According to a ranking, the best olive oil is Spanish, being the second from Italy, different brands. So you see is just marketing. Probably you value more spanish products because of your bloodline. Is all in the genes.click to expand

Marketing. Filipinos might hold the Spanish brand in high regard, or they just don't care about hiding there.click to expand
