The mafia is so good at turning the townies against other townies.
The whole "Let the loud townies ween themselves out" always favors the mafia in the end.
You also can't pin the quiet ones or you could end up voting off someone important, I've seen that happen too.
I've got 2 hours to think, and my head is killing me!

I was actually thinking the same thing about you. After reading this thread from the start what you said about pms actually made lots of sense. We could use pms to our advantage as townies, just as long as we use caution. The mafia obviously knows who we are, but If we can corner them and make them uncomfortable while giving them a tast of their own medicine it could really beifit in the long run. Maybe instead of being scared paranoid townies, we should be the angry brave townies and take this place back!

@Soul Lol you have no idea how serious I was about the PMs. I strongly believe if one has nothing to hide, they'll be open to any kind of contact as once again, they would have nothing to hide or lose. Well except I guess the doctor, slut, and cop might be the most hesitant out of the type of townies. But I think having constant PM conversations will be very intimidating to those mafia disguised as townies as they'll eventually slip up. It's human nature.
But I also want to mention to the townies, if you do get a message, don't jump to the conclusion that they're automatically a part of the mafia, so what if they are? Use the fact that a potential mafia contacted you to your advantage so you can build a strong case against them!
Anyone is welcome to PM me whether it's to talk about my thoughts about the game or whatever! The more you open up and let others open up, is when you'll start getting somewhere. Obviously if you have something to hide and aren't cautious when reaching out to others, you might end up dying.

i think the good majority of us are townies and we're falling into the mafia's hand at this point. but we also cant sit back waiting to vote. once it's 10 pm est the voting period is over and im trying to advocate people start somewhere. we're not going to make a 100% guess the first night but if we keep putting it off a townie can die. i dont mind being lynched if it's the best interest of others.

At the start of this game the odds are truly against us.
The point of waiting though is it forces the mafia to group up and vote themselves in a larger group rather then take the sinister route of quietly siding with townies voting off other townies. Then they will pretend to mourn the loss of the townie right along with you, and gain your trust.
Keep in mind now I've said that they might do the complete opposite, so use you're best judgment in the future.
Any fail the townies have is a perfect opportunity for the mafia walk in and fuck you.

I feel the same. It's really tough. I look at it like this, we are pretty much depending on luck at this point.
I feel going against the grain is the best bet, especially since we don't have much else to go by.
