No, if you read the article, Maddie has been using staff bathrooms the entire time she has attended school in Achilles district. On the first day of 7th grade, Maddie was in a new school and unable to locate the staff bathroom, as she would normally use that, and the school district has allowed that.
Because she was unable to do so, she went into the girls bathroom. When she does have to pee, she has to lean far forward, when sitting down. She was accused of looking under the stalls, not over due to this.

i understand that for a 12 year old, but that doesn't condone grown adults making statements like "open hunting season on it", or having "it's" genitalia cut off with a knife.
Apparently, the original poster now has a protective order against them by Maddie and her mother. The husband of the OP, verbally assaulted Maddie's mother on the street sometime early this week. He used his vehicle to prevent her from continuing down the street, so he could do so.
Like I said, regardless of how one feels about LGBQT issues, a child should never be threatened in this way.

Most people don't think to ask where a bathroom is, in the middle of going to a different class on the very first day of school, and brand new teachers.

From what I read, the family moved there to get away from systematic bullying at the previous place the lived in TX.
The school district there had been actively involved in making sure that Maddie didn't face those issues. That is why from 5th to 6th, she was allowed to us staff facilities.
All of this happened in a private closed parents group. It was a member in it that notified maddie's parents. It wasn't after it became public that both the original OP and her husband began harassing them publically.
