What's your favorite color?

Psychologically the colour choice of mentally healthy people.

Unless internet marketing lied to me (which it often does).

When I was about 13...and really miserable about life...I was reading a magazine in a counselors office (because my mother thought I needed counseling)...it had said that if you stare at something yellow everyday for 30 minutes you will be happy.

My parents thought I was nuts....couldn't understand why I was sitting still staring at a yellow piece of paper....and I was a bit of a jerk and didn't tell them.

I don't know if it worked...or if it was just my fire placements that pulled me out of my funk and back to life.....but it will always be my favourite colour because of that.

I believe it! I bought a yellow wristband (like the LIVESTRONG bands) two years back, because they said it was the colour to motivate the solar chakra. Still wear it everyday.

I bought a yellow Dansk Koben style casserole because my family had one when I was growing up that's still working and I wanted one too, for happy memories. I have it set on my stove at all times because it makes me feel good when I look at it.

note: DXP is for some reason separating Koben and style even though I am not typing it that way - they're one word.

Nice 🙂 I grew up with a bright orange one. It had a gradient where it would fade into white. I'm sure a lot of people had that one because I've seen it in pictures often.

And yes, the site has problems with the word " style ". Maybe something to do with the html tags.

Thanks! That's cool that you had one too, in orange with a gradient. I think I saw that when I was searching for mine (mine is dead stock).

Okay, good to know about the site's problem with style (that could explain a lot of things, lol).

When I was small I liked red cuz of the red ranger, then green cuz if the green ranger then white cuz of the white ranger. I like black too and blue. Hard to decide on a fav. But if was gang banging id choose to be a blood. Because I'm sure all you niggas bleed red not blue.

It was exactly this, just with no Le Creuset logo on the black handle and the gradient was harsher fading into white in the middle or maybe that was just from use.

I like that! That's an attractive effect.

Funny that you mention this, even though it's Dansk we're discussing, because the other cookware I have on my stove top at all times is a cobalt blue Le Creuset sauce pot.

Depends totally on what the object of interest is... almost? ANY color in the "right" situation. Trends, boredom, what "feels" good at the moment.

Otherwise, BLACK is my ultimate favourite color.
