Cancel
Date or no date, I don't leave the house unless I'm "ready" from head to toe.

i dont put on make up at all.i prefer natural, all the guys i have dated find that intersting and like it. not even my nails.my nails are always short, cant stand long nails coz they carry dirt.i use only vaseline on my lips and face

I agree with the nails, most look ridiculous anyway..especially when they are very long. Wow @ using vaseline on the face though, doesn't it make you pimply?

no it doesnt, tried all the lotions, they messed up my face.so i went back to vaseline and it works for me perfect

Ya I know about lotions messing up your face..Pond's does that to me & all the other popular face stuff. If vaseline works for you then that's great.

so which one do u use, maybe i should try that

I use something called Gentle Magic, I'm not sure if its available outside South Africa though. I use their face cream & soap because other soaps make me itch. I have very sensitive skin. I've struggled for years trying to find a product compatible with my skin & I'm good now.

I'm scared to use powders & liquid makeup..I get rashes easily. I only use the brow stuff & sometimes eyeshadow. No lipstick or lipgloss, I'm like LL Cool J..I lick my lips too much for any of that.

Black studs kind of look like this, yet again nordstrom rack for $ 20 instead of $ 40, my favorite earrings so far, especially for work...they go with everything.

I've got ones just like that, I only wear studs too..no big chandelier earings for me. I got gifts when I got married & you know how Arabs are into dangling, VERY huge earings. I gave all that away to my Indian bff. I don't do gold either, I'm not Shab Shabba Ranks.

I hope you find it, but don't buy the liquid stuff, it's not good. The soap & the cream are fantastic.

lol about the GOLD, you know East Africans, that's all we wear in our events, we be bling blinging.

but no i wear dangly earrings when i go out, but not at work, cause it's just too much, i feel overdressed.

Yeah East Africans are just like Indians with that gold stuff. I hope you don't have a gold tooth, though lol. That's one of the most disgusting things ever imho. In Pretoria where I'm staying almost every 3rd guy has a gold tooth..I'm single for a reason. Yuck.

women shouldnt be wearing fakeup at all. it is false advertisement.

i think its part of the reason chicks lose their looks by like.....20. all those nasty chemicals on your face cant be good for the skin and cause it to age rapidly.

would not date a chick who wore slut paint

srs

Yeah, probably. Depending on my mood.

Every once in a while someone catches me in a state of 'yeah, this is me, deal with it' for better or worse lol. And honestly, if someone can't handle what I look like without makeup then it's obviously not going to work out anyway so I would be saving us both a lot of time and hassle by just using au natural as a kind of litmus test.

I hardly ever wear make up. so wouldn't make a difference for me if going on a date.

I do wear mascara and sometimes lip gloss at work.

I am pretty vain about my hair however. Bad hair days can be devastating! LOL

I am confident in my looks and charm to get me through a date but If I do choose to wear makeup its to complete my look according to my aesthetic which is a trashy street ratbag ??_I hate looking polished on a date it makes me feel uncomfortable like I'm trying too hard I do however want to look cool??_.I don't care if you find me sexy or caring I want to be perceived as cool first hahaha

A lot of men say they don't like make up but deep down you all do, end of discussion.

With that being said, I would probably cancel. Not because I'm afraid to go out without make up, I don't wear any make up to work, but for me first impressions are everything. I hate it when I go on dates and the guy doesn't bother going out of his way to look good. And make up does enhance your natural features so it is a must for me on the first date.

I agree. (And many men don't even know what "no makeup" actually looks like. They think that natural makeup = no makeup)

I always skipped makeup for first dates, intentionally. Because I only wanted to deal with guys for whom I wouldn't have to be a slave to the mirror. It sets the baseline, so that you only look better down the road.

It worked -- too well. Now I have a dh who actually hides my makeup because he so prefers me without it. xD

Truthfully, yes. I rarely wear makeup. Most of my dates with my husband was without make up.

To the OP, yes, I would always go on a date without makeup because I don't wear any. Don't need it and I'm pretty awful at it so I just said forget it lol. Most guys don't notice until a few weeks or even months in.

yeah i can go out on a date without make up. i realized it doesn't make a difference if i wear make up or not so why bother? im still debating if i should even wear make up on my wedding. i'm getting married in 2 days. maybe i should at least wear lipstick, mascara and blush.
