I think a lot has to do with how nonchalant and go with the flow we are. Other signs don't realize that it's because we like being that way. They seem to take it as a challenge to see what they can and cannot get away with. Like trapping something inside of a box, to see if it can get caught.

Ha! I found the opposite with a Libra. He said I was trainable 😳 and tried to mold me into what he wanted! Not happening. So why exactly is that ok? It’s ok for me to be me. My mother is also a Libra & she calls me independent in a bad way. Hmmm. Then apologized for being a bad mother. I never called her a bad mother but she saw what I went through to get healthy after what she allowed my stepdad to do. I’m allowed to have opinions, so are Libras or anyone else. But everybody is allowed their own choice too me, friends, family, romantic partners. I just don’t have to be there if it’s not healthy for me.

But insecurities develop if it's your first time with a sag. There isnt enough reassurance on where they stand. Majority of the reason is they are so outgoing. One can grow defensive and resentful.

What's sad is that Virgos don't vocalize this until it's too late. It usually happens once a Sag thinks they "know" you and then it's not happening and it creates even more of an issue.
We wonder why all of the sudden things are bothering you, when they hadn't before. Then we get stubborn and just flat out don't listen.
This type of behavior can be avoided in beginning stages of a relationship.
Neither one of our signs ask, I think Virgos ask more,out of frustrations. Both signs dance around issues though.

That’s great. In theory, Libra and search for balance should be a good match. I have not had that with Libra suns.. however the Cap I’m dating is a Libra moon. Idk my being independent is attractive but threatening I guess.. or maybe cuz some can’t read me.. cap rising/aqua moon problems I guess.

Lol I run into problems with the go with the flow, Hell if I’m having fun it’s all good. But then I notice I’m not doing my things. So I try to make sure I’m doing my stuff in recent years. I tend to take care of people and put them first.. maybe it’s 12th house issues. Sun & mars. Idk. Trying to do self-care these days, and that is NOT selfish.

Or people that specifically ask for advice and then you take the time to help them, and then just do whatever they want anyway and it turned out bad, then they complain about it afterwards.

I'm pretty balanced with both, which is why I don't like being controlled. If I'm handling my own shit, I don't need someone else telling me how I should be doing things a different way. If it's said while I'm in the middle of something, and it's a better way, I will apply it.
But people coming in after the fact will just get mowed over lol

I just noticed that many of my relationships had a trying to control me aspect when I listed out relationships in another thread.. and remember about parents, brother, the Gemini friends. I think the Cap I dated ran away due to him not feeling in control. He’d admit that sometimes. I've been realizing this lately about myself as I had controlling parents - I have control phobias too and I don't mind. I actually think that's a healthy response to people who do not mean the best for you. Which is a lot of people. Even people who get up in my face at my job and want to know all about me and act like they're my best friend or something - I find that a form of control as well as a lot of other instances. These people are not my friends so GTFO with your nosy ass.

We hung out a couple of months, but wasn’t much of a spark. He was little too awkward and nerdy for me. But we got along well as friends. He’s a Libra sun. No he didn’t challenge my thoughts, more like we discussed things and respected each other’s opinions. He respected my experience career wise and would ask for my opinion a lot.

I feel like other mutables get this concept.
The more freedom you give your (mutable) partner the more they are up your butt. Like the rubber band effect pretty much.

Yes. You will never 100% control them though. Sag are literally uncontrollable. You can get them to live with you, provide for you, be loyal, and have them never leave you though. If you are good enough lol. You will never fully control them though, and that tends to scare some people.
