I am wondering with the prevalance of more Karens, long lost illegitmate children of David Duke and undercover racist democrats (like from the movie GET OUT) if interracial dating in the future is going to be nonexistent when it comes to Caucasians and African-Americans.

Given the prevalence of all those different type of Caucasian racists being around, I completely understand why the African-American community would be closed off to dating anyone caucasian at this point.

If COVID ever gets manageable to where we can actually date in person, I am wondering if I see an attractive black woman on an dating app or in person to approach, if I shouldnt even bother to at this point.

Cant blame anyone at this point for immediately assuming Im a Trumper based on how Caucasians are behaving in this country. By the way, is it too late now to claim I'm a halfbreed of apache mixed with irish?

Blacks and Whites are dating just fine in the Seattle area. I notie White men are only attracted to "natural" chicks tho. Like she has to look hella pro black or something.

i get more attention when my hair is disheveled and shit.

Nothing to do with a "pro black" look and everything to do with not being high maintenance regardless of race.

That's good to hear. I prefer natural hair whether it's a fro or curly. It's a shame some people prefer weaves on women, natural is fine with me. If a girl is hot in general dont care about the hair.

The only thing that can be frustrating (but I completely get the reason of it) is asking if i am just fetishizing them. I've dated all types of women from indian, latina to asian. The only fetish I have is for attractive women in general. Hormones know no boundaries in my case.

But I understand why, it just sucks that they have to ask that.

@blackmamba - I dont have a specific preference or type for women. I'll date anyone as long as they are attractive.

Girls I've dated have been all over the place in terms of race. What matters to me basically are these qualities - is she attractive, fun, grounded, easy to talk to, liberal, and not frigid in bed?

I dont know what else to say except I like attractive women in general.

'Karens' are not suddenly more prevalent. They are just receiving more national attention.

Just like cops didn't suddenly start murdering black men, its just now in the public eye.

Interracial dating is gonna keep on keepin on.

I just saw a new pic of the white musician that he put up. He looked so freaking good! 😭

I still don't have any issues dating outside of my "race"

I'm mixed race- Jewish and Black. Racism is on both sides, as far as I'm concerned. Hate isn't always as simple as black or white.

Karens have always existed and have always covered their racism under the guise of being "concerned citizens" but no, they're not going to stop anyone from dating who they want to date.

My very first boyfriend was Dominican black (I'm Romanian). He thought he was being romantic when he stepped over the brush to knock on my bedroom window (in the middle of summer, in broad daylight mind you) to pass me my birthday present. I buzzed him in to my building and stepped out my door to greet him.

In a matter of seconds, three cops rolled out behind him into the hallway with their guns drawn telling us to put our hands up. I've never been more confused and scared as I was at that moment.

They stood down once they saw we were a couple. As they explained it to us, turns out our neighbor 'Karen' saw "someone trying to break into a window".

I fucking can't -___-

But yeah, @LadyNeptune is right. This has always been going on and I again reiterate, it won't stop people from dating who they want to date.

What's even sadder is that he acted more unfazed by what happened than I did. I was shaking and crying and he was calm. We were 18 - 19 yrs old and he seemed used to it. 😐

My youngest brother who is freakishly tall played bball in hs. Anyways he's at home one day early with those half days where school gets out at noon and has his teammates/friends stop by. They go through the side gate to get to the pool, 1 white kid and 3 black kids.

The racist old next door neighbors CALL THE COPS because 'BREAK IN.'

Mind you these are 15/16 year old kids walking over from class. We lived behind the hs walking distance.

Cops knock on the door and luckily my brother answers. Full swat team with dogs at the door shouting hands up get on your knees. He still swears to this day that if it wasn't him answering the door someone would've been shot. They handcuffed all of them and take them to the station. The whole time he's trying to tell them wtf I live here. What are you doing.

Anyways my dad had to come get them out of jail. He was so enraged at the neighbors who have his number and could've simply called him to let him know they saw some people walking into the backyard and it looked sketch. He would've told them my son is home with his friends, mind your own beeswax.

It is crazy.

I have 4 siblings and we had a pool. People were always coming over and the side gate was always unlocked, so nothing out of the ordinary about that. They saw black/brown skin and called 911.

I taught their grandkids how to swim in our pool... we were that kind of neighbors, but I guess we didn't even deserve the courtesy of a call first before they send the cops to our house weapons drawn smh.

Ok poor choice of words. I'm not saying they never existed, it was bad phrasing on my end. I am at work and posting when calls are not happening.

Sometimes I am rushing and making errors between calls before the next entitled karen unleashes her fury at me for ups delivering late in the day in spite of covid going on.

I'm grateful my parents would have been cool with whoever I dated as long they werent underage, arent screwing around me, or treating me like crap.

My family on my mom's side I am not so sure about. But thankfully I am estranged from all of them except my female cousin. But she is cool and non trailer park so no white supremacy aggression on her.

If I do end up dating a women of color, at least she doesnt have to worry about in-laws.

Even though I've dated women of color, I never got was able to make the step into a serious relationship

But that was due to differences regarding religion - (i'm agnostic or indifferent to religion, they were religious) as well as they wanted marriage along with kids and I didnt

Not against marriage, but kids are a no-go with me.

If I was dating someone religious I am cool with them practicing their faith, but not interested in participating as I am skeptical of organized religion in general

Its all good.

I think because there are so many kids out there that have multiple ethnicity's it may no longer be about embracing only your white side or black side, or insert color side. Plus you have younger generations rejecting labels, gender and sexual orientation, and wanting things to be more free form. So its not as big an issue to them as opposed to someone older who was brought up in a time when things were more taboo.

I understand why someone would want to date within their ethnicity or culture because you have that built-in support from your community and lots in common. Just an easier path overall.

At the end of the day its a personal choice. Sadly there will always be strangers judging how you live your life and some aren't equipped with thick skin to withstand the hate.

on the subject of interracial dating.

I find it harder to discuss people that only date outside their ethnicity/race, specially when they are in the majority, like a white girl that has dated 3 black guy in a row, in the US, and the usual I see, a white man only dating asians (and they say that proudly) I find something unsettling with that, but is more complicated to point it out 😓

and I fell these difficult times have also contributed, people are even capable of dating as a statement of how progressive they are nowadays, how low we have sink.

I am going to admit something.

I don't understand why black men would be attracted to someone like me. I have no arse.

Honestly I don't know why white men would be attracted to me either tho....im too delightfully crazy...but also the arse thing.

I have no issues dating any race.

I am not gonna pull a karen if he leaves the toilet seat up if that's what you mean. Call the cops ..hi my black husband left the toilet seat up..im scared what he will do next. -Karen.

Idk, it has been an issue that has sort of screwed with me, even before the current clime.

Like, I can see myself easily dating anyone, but idk if I can handle mingling with that person's family, if things get really serious, if that person is of another race. I feel like there would be too much awkward and dumb concentration on my partner dating 'the black guy' (whether from a positive or negative perspective) instead of seeing me as the individual I am.

It's a road I have yet to cross. Or perhaps I'll date orphans exclusively, when I'm looking to lock down 😁

I always thought you were an Oreo lol 😝

The first guy who ever made me cum was a white guy (Aries). He was so good he could cum and keep right on going. I've never had another man do that before. It was so hot.

Idk how I feel.

I'd imagine some black people with white spouses could be drowning in regret right now or they could feel like they have an ally.

I remember a Gemini (spanish) asking me if I would ever leave him for a black guy and me being turned off by the question and thinking absolutely not.

I think back to that question and now my answer is ...maybe

Sag is the first black man that I have ever dated. We met, we had crazy sparks, we fell in love immediately.....race wasn't even mentioned. He is the best man that I ever met. This has to do with his character, not his race.

Oh....and we have very similar political views. I consider myself a moderate independent. Hardcore conservatives would call me liberal. On DXP, I am probably considered pretty Republican.
