People think your partner is more attractive than you...

Understanding Your Partner's Attraction and Self-Confidence

Feeling insecure about your partner's attractiveness is common but can be managed by focusing on your own qualities and communication. Recognize that attraction is complex and not solely based on physical appearance. Building self-confidence and understanding your relationship dynamics can help you feel more secure and valued.

it's all about each person's taste... it just means that in their eyes, physically or stereotypically you two don't match together.

Other than that, is pointless. As long as you two love and accept each other is all that really matters.

I've never had this issue... but I wouldn't mind it. I'm a leo... I like pretty things! It would just validate that my man is a hunk and my ego would go up cause this hunk wants me. Id have an issue if they told me he was ugly and why am I with him.... I have actually had that said to me, that or they commented on what kind of animal he looks like. Like, Wtf. Why would you tell someone that?

Oh a Leo! Just what I was hoping for.

What kind of animal did they say he looked like?

Eh not necessarily true every time. Even if both parties are gorgeous, one of them is bound to be a bit more better-looking in the eyes of some.

A turtle. For the record I love turtles and have two as pets so not sure why they felt like it was a bad thing. It's probably why I was attracted to him! Ha!

Ok first of all, turtles are the cutest things in the world! I also have met guys who were said to look like turtles or even frogs, but for some reason they made it work.

I was actually hoping you had found yourself on the receiving end of this. I think I'm gonna ask the Leos on their turf.

Actually it would really annoy me, this is why i usually date men around the same level of attractiveness as myself which is fairly attractive 😛

I hated that, my past Sagittarius ex was making a scene about that.

Like, I can't do anything about it if people are looking, da fawk?

Was he ugly? Lol he was probably threatened by your looks or didn't like being labelled the ugly one.

I've never mentioned it in the forms before but I have talk about my Saggy-ex before in here. But he was always told he wasn't good looking and whatnot.

He always had low self-esteem & every time he witness guys' hitting on me or flirting, he would get mad at me even thou I was ignoring them. Nothing I did was right. & he would blame me constantly for attracting people.

That's just messed up.

I've had a similar experience with a Sag friend. I knew this Sag guy a decade ago, he was a plain average Joe. He had a Leo chick friend who he wanted to have sex with REAL BAD. So he came to me for advice on how to get her on her back. He introduced me to her so I could suss her out (she was Hindu and mildly developmentally-challenged).

I don't think she was very capable of grasping the concept of adult sexual contact. She was in her mid-20s but she was mentally more or less a child. Conversations with her were really bizarre. She'd say stuff she thought you wanted to hear so she could keep the conversation going.

He seemed to be trying to push her into it, so (big surprise) he discovered that she preferred being around ME more than him. At the time I was in a relationship with Matt (my first love) so she knew I wasn't available. But the Sag completely flipped out on me because he thought I was leading her on, sending her mixed signals and whatnot. Whereas all I was doing was being myself around her. He kept making lewd comments and sexual suggestions towards her and she wasn't equipped to handle that. And he knew I was with another man but his paranoia and jealousy knew no bounds.

Men and women used to try and get at me in front of my ex. They liked my looks and personality. He had a great personality but didn't really keep in shape after the years we were together. I always did.

So he would just say "Why does everyone always want you! " lol He was the one that used to flirt a lot. I think I used to get the attention cause I did the exact opposite. I stayed quiet and didn't flirt. It used to draw a lot of attention.

I can't fathom why this would bother me. Being with someone I feel is more attractive than myself keeps me motivated to stay fit and healthy. Being told my partner is more attractive than me is like an invisible high-five.

It'd be weird if they were comparing us in the first place.

Common you! It's not weird at all!

Unless you don't socialize with anyone.

Still even at cash register cashier will think 'THIS with THAT?'...

So don't go anywhere together...?

Does it bother you? How would you react to it?

PS: I especially want to hear those who think they're genetically blessed or think they're the hotties in the pairing.

So...trouble in Paradise?

Jed finally realized you blew his head so big that he can get richer/hotter/younger?

Awwwww...

Don't care but it's funny!

Cool story bro!

As once about Jed!

You want to be attractive. But you heck of insecure...this is where anger comes from!

You can scream how pretty you are but apparently you don't believe this yourself.

I've had several people make comments to me about how much better looking I am than my boyfriend. While I'm sure they were trying to compliment me or something, I found it totally rude and shallow and I never looked at them the same way after. I feel like I can handle a lot when it comes to general comments from others, but when it comes to stuff like that like what makes you think I'd want your opinion?? Lol

Being around stupid people is a curse!

Have I asked your opinion? NO!

You can always say 'he is gorgeous in bed and his d is to die for'!

Just to shut them up! ?

Doesn't bother me one bit. I already believe Jed is genetically superior to me in every way and all I care about is keeping him in my bed, couldn't care less what anyone else thinks. I'm no slouch either but I already got who I wanted the most, so at this stage my own looks don't matter one bit.

That's good.

I've never had a legit relationship, nor am I anywhere near that phase in life. But I will say when I date around trying to find "the one" I prioritize military boys or policemen [in training]. I just like the G.I. machoness that really proves they're "genetically superior". Looks are also considered; they should be at least as attractive as me. I just feel like I'll look uglier if I'm with an ugly person ??
