Leo moon...I am my self esteem 😂 but seriously...it actually kinda boosted it especially because I was already at a very low point in life.

What do you gain from being someone’s side chick?

Experience? Life lessons? I don't really know tbh

Do you actually prefer this over being a main chick?

Maybe? At the time I didn't give a fuck about anything or anyone.

Why?

Freedom?..I wasn't tied down and could do what I wanted and didn't have to deal with bs...except some drama and when that got outta hand.. I left.

I don’t understand how side chicks get attached like that. If he ain’t my man, I won’t expect or want him to be my man. In fact, I’ll take certain measures to make sure their relationship stays in tact, such as blocking the wife/girlfriend on social media (if I have the guy on SM or he knows my real name and not my working name), limiting our time together to just sex (no dates), and giving my best relationship support lol.

What I used to gain from being a side chick is the fact that I don’t have to emotionally invest in the man. I know with single men you don’t have to emotionally invest either, but it gets awkward down the line when they catch feelings and expect something more 😬😬

No, I don’t think that’s always the case. I’ve heard before on here and also had a friend who was a side chick to the same guy for years...they knew they were just side chicks and that these men “loved” their wives and had zero plans to leave them...they just wanted their physical needs met...and that was fine for them.

Fuck it...I'll tell my story.

After my ex died.. I wasn't in the right state of mind but I engaged with a guy from his work. He used to flirt with me all the time. Anyway.. I don't even remember how things went the way they did...but he told me he was in a open marriage. His wife had a boyfriend and he was allowed to find a girlfriend...and he wanted me. I said fuck it ok. She knew about me met me and the whole nine. I knew my place and knew he'd never leave her and I didn't want him to but he talked about it because he was falling hard for me. It became too much drama when the wife started to get mad that he wanted to spend more time with me and the fact I was younger...bothered her a lot. I eventually ended it. We didn't talk but he got accused of still fucking with me all the time (he told me later on). They ended up getting divorced years later because of the constant fighting about me and other reasons.

Sometimes we get into situations with people for all kinds of reasons, sometimes you can't help who you connect with or fall for . Yes, everyone has will power but how do we not know thats how the universe wanted shit to play out...we are all here to learn lesson..no? And unless you have been in that situation...you can say all you want youd never do this or that. I also said I'd never be with a cheater till I was in that situation. Shit happens...is it right, probably not but maybe it is...whose to really say. Yeah my situation was a little different with her knowing about me but doesn't make me any less a side chick.

Who the hell wrote the final word on ethics and told everyone how they should feel and how they should act and when they should do it.

All I know is if a person is in a committed relationship they need to respect that because that’s what they decided upon with their partner.

The person who is not involved in that relationship has nothing to do with that commitment. She never decided to commit to those people.

If the partner was loyal and respectful, there would never even be a side chick no matter what she tried to do. That’s really the only one and real truth on affairs.

The Golden Rule works pretty well for me. I wouldn't want some hoe trying to seduce my husband so I wouldn't try to seduce anyone else's, even if I were single.

I can’t stand hoes that are always trying to compete with other women who have no idea they even exist. It’s beyond annoying. It’s why women are critical and distrustful of other women!

I work with one of those. I have literally had to ask her “why do you feel this is a competition? I do not feel competitive with you whatsoever”

Every time she tries to make competition with me it’s just awkward and plain weird.

I dunno- what’s ethics? Who’s the boss of ethics? That’s a whole nother post.

Who the hell wrote the final word on ethics and told everyone how they should feel and how they should act and when they should do it.

That’s a debate all on its own.

All I know is if a person is in a committed relationship they need to respect that because that’s what they decided upon with their partner.

The person who is not involved in that relationship has nothing to do with that commitment. She never decided to commit to those people.

If the partner was loyal and respectful, there would never even be a side chick no matter what she tried to do. That’s really the only one and real truth on affairs.
