But, I personally think setting up the date to be at the lake was a bit cliche and over the top. If it wasn't her idea, I wouldn't have gone through with that.. You paid for drinks and dinner and the bitch played you.
Next time, set up a date at your home. If you got a patio backyard and grill, even better... Tell HER to bring the drink, maybe some vodka and juice.. Next time, set up a date at your home. If you got a patio backyard and grill, even better... Tell HER to bring the drink, maybe some vodka and juice.. You gotta make her INVEST in the date, so she's liable to show up. Whether she drives to you, buy the liquor, or buys the food.. Make her invest twice.
She HAS to feel invested, and it also shows your not trynna sweep her off her damn feet and set everything up for her like she's some damn queen. You barely knew her.
I also will say, a quick meeting at a bar would have been great. You two drink together for an hour, at a fairly safe public place - considering y'all meet online.. Get to know each other for a short time, then kiss her and ya gotta run..
