I think most authors write where their characters take them. Characters develop and grow as the story line builds, they can change and morph into something different than the basic concept in their minds. From interviews I have seen, no not all of them have the ending before they start, if you can develop the story that carries your readers with you into a long saga, imo you have been successful.

Think of R.A. Salvatore, Anne Rice, Stephen R Donaldson, Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind, Diana Gabaldon - yes i'm referencing mostly Sci-Fi here-but something they all have in common- taking main characters and writing series that brings you with them into another word.

Most writers have a vague idea of where the story is going, but don't know exactly what will happen. They write to find out.

Yep! Aries writing between known beginning and the end. How does he get there is a different story but he knows where he is going.

I’ve read his new story and went all crazy about the way he told me about what characters are going to be and he changed THE character in the process and I wasn’t happy and this is how I lost my ‘first viewers’ privileges...

He said he won’t show me unfinished work anymore because he can’t be influenced! 🤦‍♀️

Whatever! I am still thinking his initial idea was better! Or maybe it’s because it grew on me and I am not too flexible when it comes to changes.

And honestly I am very surprised that everyone took this thread seriously...😂😂😂

I bet Bunny is laughing his ass off at it. He pulled it out of his ass and scored attention he didn’t even wanted. 😜

Ahahaha, I'm very surprised, too, that everyone takes it seriously.

If you still don't know what this book is about? After all, the emergence of an idea is the most important stage in the process of creating a written masterpiece does not depend on the fact that you are writing a book or for example a personal statement like me. I have no idea what to write in my personal statement, so I will order it from https://www.sopservices.net/personal-statement-editing-services/ The specialists will do everything efficiently and quickly. I think this is the right decision.
