Depends on what's my financial cituation at the moment.

We can eat seafood every week but once or 3-4 times - depends on what's in the bank.

We food shop a lot. But I can spend $ 100 or $ 300 for 4 not including booze - all depends.

Does anyone have budget they stick to whole life? I am not the one.

Poor money management is in my blood!

?
Ugh me too. Especially when I go to the expensive health food store. I end up spending way too much ?

I spend $ 70 USD a week. It's mainly 10 lbs of chicken drumsticks, apples, bananas, blueberries, avocados, honey dew, ALOT of mushrooms, asparagus, and salad bags. I have eaten the same thing every day for almost a year ?

Omg I LOOOOOOOOVe Mushrooms. I get white caps and portabellos and usually fill up one grocery bag and eat it within the week.
I'm about the same. I can spend $ 50- $ 70 a week or $ 100- $ 140 every two weeks on myself. Most of my purchases are meat, produce, with some grains too. I also eat a lot, so I tend to cook in bulk, which is also more cost effective.

Mushrooms are AMAZING for the immune system. How often do you get sick?

About $ 150-200 every 2 weeks for 2 adults. Very little processed food, a lot I can freeze (meat, vegetables). I batch cook my lunches for the week on Sunday and freeze them in individual containers.
I've been getting back into meal prepping as well. Even freezing smoothie cups for on the go. Taking a few hours off on a weekend to cook has saved me the hassle of cooking after work or grocery shopping after work when it gets really busy. And I stopped for a bit because I was getting tired of eating the same meals :/

@Op, on average I spend about $ 70- $ 100 on just myself a week. Need that protein gain since I've been working out again.

I haven't had grain foods normally for a while now and I miss it. I'll have some on a weekend but not weekdays. I definitely should start meal prepping in bulk to save time, but idk why, I'm just so used to cooking an hour before work.

Yeah I stick to brown and whole wheat grains and generally avoid white flour as much as possible. Cooking in bulk just makes things so much easier when you're exhausted and don't want to cook every meal.

it's fucking expensive in europe.

lol not kidding . you have to have "money" here.

unless you live with your parents and you're doing well. lol

live with your parents and have an OK job and you'll do well financially.

there are shopping places /groceries where you can buy cheaper foods though, those are usually from other countries. lol

edit

if you're lower income btw, you can get some money from the government and live on a subsidized housing..

it's a similar effect with being on welfare. somewhat.

Batch cooking is great. I get up at 4:30 am and have to leave at 6:15 for work. It's so much easier to just grab a container from the freezer and go.

I only do this for lunches though. I know people who do it for all 3 meals during the week! I like the idea but that's just too much time in the kitchen in one day for me.

Aye I can't wake up that early on a work week, but props to you! I actually do it for 2 meals 5 days a week-lunch and dinner. For breakfast I have a shake or some protein balls and milk.

9 Reasons You Should Visit Belgrade

Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is one of the most underrated and least talked about travel destinations across Europe.

Sure, there was a war here in the 90s and Western media still loves to give the city a bad image but it’s truly a unique and incredible place to visit.

Over the last 15 years Belgrade has turned itself into one of the fast growing tourist destinations in the Balkans.

Serbia is still facing some problems financially but that hasn’t stopped many of its cities from growing and flourishing.

If you’re looking for a city with great architecture, a rich culture heritage, and low travel costs than this is the place for you.

Here are my 9 reasons why you should visit Belgrade on your next European trip.

It’s Beautiful

belgrade old town

Before I came to Belgrade it was hard to imagine what it was going to look like and even the photos I saw online didn’t do the city justice.

When I got here I was blown away by the beautiful architecture, tree-lined streets, and the many parks that are sprinkled across the city.

In many ways I was reminded of Lviv and I feel that too many people discard Belgrade as a grey and dreary city when it’s actually quite the opposite.

There is something unique in every neighborhood such as the modern apartment blocks of Novy Beograd to the tops of churches that dot the skylines of Savamala and Vracar.

Of course it can’t be compared to cities like Paris or Amsterdam but in it’s own way Belgrade is beautiful and unlike any other city I’ve been to.

It’s the shining star of Serbia and you can expect to be pleasantly surprised by something on almost every corner you turn.

It’s Off The Beaten Path

knez mihailova

Very few people travel to Belgrade and it’s easy to understand why.

Throughout the 90s a war ravaged many of the cities in the Balkans and the Serbian capital experienced widespread damage and destruction.

However, this hasn’t put a damper on the people living there and the hospitality and kindness of its residence makes it an ideal place to visit.

The lack of tourists visiting Belgrade means that much of the popular landmarks and destinations are still untouched and it’s easy to see the old Communist roots poking through wherever you are.

There isn’t a huge push for tourism but every year more people come to check out the sights.

Between the amazing beaches along the Sava and the super modern architecture in Novy Beograd there are a ton of things to do, see, and enjoy.

It’s Affordable

best umbrella for travel

Many different websites list Belgrade as one of the cheapest cities in Europe to visit.

It’s possible to get a full meal for $ 3, or a beer at a local pub for $ 1 all the while taking advantage of the high quality of goods being offered.

Accommodation can be found for as little as $ 10/night, which means for less than $ 20/day you can really have a great time.

Most of the museums have free entry on a certain day of the week and recently there has been a rise in the number of free walking tours available.

The people living here don’t earn very much but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to have a good time.

Wherever you are you’ll see people smiling and enjoying themselves even though they don’t have much to spend.

As a Western European or North American your money will go very far here and if you’re on a budget you’ll definitely want to add this city to your list."

night scenes..

they make everything so luxurious, adding also beautiful women. lol
